Yes you should be able to use the button hold attachment with this unit. Since the other automatic single needle machines have the older Wiper System there is no room to attach the device but the DDL-9000CF has the thread clamp which replaces the wiper system that gets in the way.

We will be making a video on this once we have an order for that subclass. We will have Juki's Smart App available for download on our website for Android Devices. I recommend utilizing the smart app to load your programs as it is easier to manage than using the panel in my opinion. Make sure to subscribe as we will have a whole playlist for the Juki App and programming Videos.

These are the settings for a stock set up (standard feed dog, plate, etc) Needle Tension 50-70 (depends on your bobbin case tension) Foot tension 40-60 Feed dog 0 ~ -3 Feed dog stroke (S) Best results: needle plate w. Small hole Needle size 9-10 Feed dog (fine or rubber)

I can't swap between presets once I have started sewing with one of them.. it just makes a beeping sound and I have to power off and on the machine again to be able to change settings again.. any ideas?

Yes once you're in the middle of a sewing cycle, you have to end the cycle by pushing the heel of the pedal (To cut or finish the cycle). You're unable to change any settings once you start the sewing process without ending that cycle first.

When you were setting the detail parameters for the tacking phases, you first tapped a button labeled "S003", "S004", and "S005". What do those buttons do? It feels like an unintuitive step in the process.

That button is to bring up the previously set setting from your original pattern. You push that to access the setting and it loads the same value you set earlier.

I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but when I touch the button to create a new pattern, there is no option for a new pattern. Only the 1 default pattern that is already programmed in, and there isn't even an option to edit it. I only get two buttons to sort and to change the search filter. My screen is also lacking that last row of buttons for adjusting the feed dog. I have only had this machine since March, WTH?

Your panel is set on Operator Mode which shows just the basic options. You will need to access the Tech Mode to see everything. 1- push "M" 2- Memory Switches 3- Panel Settings 4- Panel usage mode 5- Change to tech mode After changing to tech mode, you will have all the options on the home screen as you see in this video. Regarding not being able to create a new pattern: - Push the top left pattern number to show your list of patterns saved in the machine. - Bottom you will see the NEW button. - Select that and it will take you to start making a new patter. - * Make sure your panel is not locked by Unlocking the Lock Sign on the top of the screen. Has to be unlocked to change anything.

@@ABCSewingMachine I have the same problem with "clusterfuctone" and following your instruction. However, I do not see the 5-Change to tech mode on my machine. When I press the Panel Usage mode, the screen shows a bunch of numbers 1 to 0. How do I find the Tech Mode?
