Damn it. So can't you guys see that they are exactly the same microscopes. They are just visually different. Andonstar only has a newer design and a slightly larger display, but that's insignificant because it doesn't give it any advantage in comparison to Mustool. You do not get any benefit for three times the price of the Andonstar microscope. The Chinese are so slanderous...they always cheat in everything. Don't you see in one part of the video where the guy shows you the motherboards of both microscopes where you can see that they are identical in both microscopes...exactly the same sensors and the main chip marked G332. And all the other components down to the smallest element on the board are identical....exactly the same motherboard people!!!! There is no significant difference between the two microscope models. There is only a difference in the price of the Andonstar microscope, which is only a newer model and only because of that is three times more expensive than the Mustool. And it is no better. The Mustoul has a slightly worse LED lighting, which is why the picture looks like a warm shade, but that's quickly solved with an additional LED light. I've had the Mustoul for years and I'm very happy with it... I wouldn't trade it for a new one. because a new model doesn't mean anything at all and that it has better performance. I solved the lighting on my Mustool with Alko...just added an LED lamp next to it that I turn on and the picture is perfect...even better than the Andonstar as shown in this video. because the Chinese are prone to that that they are able to launch 10 new microscope models and all of them have identical chips and motherboards. But that's why the prices are skyrocketing for each new model and the microscopes are just newer designs and that's all...even if this Andonstar. My recommendation is to buy a Mustoul for sure...don't waste your money buying a newer and more expensive model that is at least 150-170 dollars more expensive. because you won't get any benefit if you pay more. Because more expensive never means that something is better. Once upon a time, that was the rule and it was valid...but it's been a long time, and especially today, it has nothing to do with reality.

@@JTMakesIt I reached out to the company on their amazon store page, and they said it can be connected to the PC and accessed in windows as a camera, like you would with a webcam. One substantial difference in image quality is due to the extra led lighting, and that´s easy to solve. I have the cheap one, and I attached to it a shitty cheap selfie led ring. Man, that does a diference. It is night and day working on the boards, as the stock lighting is just crap. I also attached it to a cheap "magic arm" gripped to a shelve so you don´t shake the image when workin on the table, and that helped a lot too. The whole assembly is clumpsy and kinda crappy, but for that money I´m really happy. It sure gives a too warm color in the camera output to he computer and the recorded images, but it isn´t that bad. On the lcd the colors more accurate. I would´n spend more money in this kind of microscope. I would rather go for a pure USB one and use a nice big display to show the image (even cheaper than the cheap one if you have the computer/display next to the workbench), or go for an entry level binocular/trinocular. That last one would be for sure my next upgrade if I had the money to spare.

I have a cheap Chinese endoscope and it ha san android app for your phone , limited to which phones it works with though but I see no reason they couldn't do something similar with these have cell phone mount or tablet mount and stand and better optics, most phones and tablets would provide a better screen , I feel like paying for the screen is a waste and the money could go to better optics or other parts instead or just bring he cost down, you could argue that developing an app would add cost but in the case of the endoscope I don't think it did since it was less than $5

For electronic rework/soldering, you only need 10x-40x magnification... are there any USB based microscopes, true 4k/optical-zoom that you'd recommend? For example, one that can output video 1) wirelessly to a android/monitor receiver (Miracast/Wireless-HDMI) 2) Wired USB to latptop/tablet device 3) Wired HDMI Dual-lens for seeing depth.. and a large Field-of-View would also be nice. Unfortunately, the ones I've seen are very expensive, presumably because they have way too much optical zoom (130x-180x lens), or come with their own 10" display, or gimic features like remote-control, etc.

@JTMakesIt3 жыл бұрын
I agree. But I think the yellow tint only comes at certain magnifications and its only present at video recording. The image on the screen looks fine.
@naturfagstoff2 жыл бұрын
Yeah, but I found that whole yellow story strange, as the mustool has plenty of and very strong white/bluish leds. How could they possibly slant colors in yellow direction? Well, if you're wearing a yellow t-shirt, that reflect colors into the area, you will get color bleeding, especially if mustools ligths are dimmed down. No reason to think the image sensor is malfunctioning at one resolution, then starts working again at another. There is no lens either, that could bleed color.
