Julia Hartley-Brewer Pulls Apart Keir Starmer’s Six Pledges

Julia Hartley-Brewer points out what is missing from Keir Starmer’s six pledges, saying “people don’t start families because they can’t afford a home”.
The cards carried five specific pledges, taken from the wider manifesto, that were meant to demonstrate how a Labour government would have a concrete impact on people’s lives.
The pledges were: cutting class sizes to 30 or under for five, six, and seven-year-olds; fast-tracking punishment for young offenders; cutting NHS waiting lists by treating an extra 100,000 patients; getting 250,000 under-25s off benefits using money from a windfall tax on privatised utilities; and a promise not to increase income tax and to cut VAT on heating.
Julia says: “We need people to be able to have kids! We don’t need to import people to improve the demographics of our country!”

Pledges? They always pledge but then do nothing. Manifesto's aren't worth the paper they're written on. How many times have the majority told the government we don't want anymore immigration? Nothing more than a total closure of our borders is a priority. All our lives have been impacted negatively because of immigration and the types that now flood our country.

Dated 1970s ex council run school get knocked down in 12 months with new build flats How does that answer social problems? Where will you fit a place of education, shops, green space for emotional well being, recreation facilities? British public do not wish to live in overvrowded circumstances.
