@beemrdon52 first off, my opinion is totally subjective. That being said, my reasons are as follows. As an actor, I think she can play much grittier and tougher roles. That might be indicative of her turning down those types of roles or that she is not being offered them. I also believe that until she does take on grittier roles, she be type cast in strictly comedic roles or a love interest. In my non-expert opinion, someone with her resume should have bigger opportunities. Psychological thrillers, a historic figure etc... Thoughts?

Did anyone see her acceptance speech when she was honored in winning the Mark Twain award? She was both classy and eloquent. Jerry Seinfeld gave one heckuva great speech before she was introduced. He GENUINELY complimented her & that speech he gave should be bronzed. Just because it was insightful and genuine. Some people think that Seinfeld is arrogant. Well, that is what sometimes happens to certain people with a great deal of money. However, he has the self- assuradeness. And, he has social graces. Yet, it's the entertainment industry. However, his dedication & work ethic has to be applauded & admired. AND, he is highly intelligent and I believe that he is VERY funny. Especially, in recent years now that he's even more developed. Has anyone seen the stand-up bit where he talks about using the "wrong tone" in the marriage with his wife. Look it up. Great material.
