Thank you, Julia! Your videos really helped me decide which washer to get. I bought the same one and got the dolly and beige cover like your black one, too! I store mine in my living room and it is unobtrusive with the cover. The original smart plugs you have no longer come with the energy monitoring feature. Had to return those and found BN-Link smart plugs that work just like yours. They are fantastic! For 8 loads of wash AND dry with my Panda SF40 (9 pound) dryer, it only took energy that cost me $1.75 TOTAL for 8 loads! That's compared to $14 at our community laundry facility. This little washer is a gem! And I love love love the dolly. I do shake out the last of the water from the hoses at the end before I put it away and also leave the lid open for a while to air out before I put the cover on it. The lint filter is easy to clean after each load or so and does a great job. Haven't cleaned the other filter yet at the bottom back, but it looks easy enough to unscrew and wash. Thank you again for all your videos. ❤

Genuinely makes me happy that this is accessible to buy. Not a lot of people have money to buy an expensive washer or cannot have a "traditional" washer in your apartment. It's expensive & inconvenient to go to public washers when you suddenly run out of clean clothes.. An occasion that pops up and you need clean; dry clothes... life is hard! Many people either don't have a car, enough money, or a support system and it just makes me happy that this is on the market. The reason I'm considering into buying this is because the modern washers either don't have a middle agitator, doesn't fill enough water, and hardly moves to wash your clothes.. I need something with strength and that won't cost me an insane amount.. very appreciative of the washer we do have and I'm able to use. God bless you, stay strong , stay safe and be kind to one another..🙏❤🌎

I can’t afford a car yet and not allowed to have a washer and dryer. Laundrymat far to walk. So I have to pay for a laundry service. It’s so frustrating and expensive. As it’s automatic rinse you can’t use manual filll unless you stay with it and put the rinse water in. The manual says no. It won’t work unless connect directly to a faucet and with high enough water pressure. Many of the cheaper models that you have to swap the clothes over for rinse and spin can be filled with a bucket. You will void the guarantee if you fill manually.

Thank you for the review!! Mine is being delivered tomorrow, I currently have a portable washer that is side by side with the spin dry and it's hell. The machine is beyond loud, rocky and shakes, and has to be at a higher level in order to drain properly, but it shakes so I have to hold it 😩 It looks like this one doesn't have that issue, that you can leave it on the floor. My laundry is covered in my room. Can't even see the floor. The depression and anxiety is building every single day, takes me almost 1 hour to do 1 load in my current laundry machine because there's so much physical labour with it (manually fill it with 4 buckets of water AND have to do this 3-4 times to actually get the clothes clean). PLUS the spin dry beside the dryer is so much smaller than the wash. So I have to fricken dry in small batches. Anyway, excited to use it and boost my mental health, thank you a bunch!

It looks nice, I keep watching these videos. The only thing that we cannot use hot water, what do we do with white underwear and towels, cold water will not clean well?

Good question! Anything like that I like to soak in a dishpan - I always have one handy :)

Can it wash a queen size comforter?
@JuliaCaban3 жыл бұрын
Depends how thick it is. I was able to wash king size quilt in it

@@JuliaCaban wow. That’s amazing. I’m thinking if I wet my comforter first, it will Fit in the machine better or I just get a smaller blanket and use that going forward.

Thanks for answering a lot of my questions. You were very informative. I do have one question though. When I set it to soak it sets the time at 65mins? How do I get it down to 30mins? Thanks. Black n Decker needs to pay you for customer service 😆.

hmm Maybe try playing around with the settings - /light/medium load, how many rinse cycles etc - that usually gets the washing time down :)
@garyparker73484 ай бұрын
@@JuliaCaban I will do that. Thank you.

Awesome tutorial Julia you have me convinced to buy this mighty washer now! I do have a question and or concern though. Is drain pipe gravity based? Meaning does it have to be the same level as the washer or can all water drain out in a sink let’s say without me manually having to grab the pipe and drain it that way. I appreciate your time!
@JuliaCaban Жыл бұрын
It’s not, it will push water through even if it’s slightly elevated
@JuliaCaban Жыл бұрын
Oh actually keep in mind you have to keep the drain hose elevated because otherwise it will keep draining water 🤪

Can someone please explain why the normal option even on large load only fills 1/5-1/4 of the way? Also why is the normal “L3” aka heavy load on “heav” is 60 mins vs 83 minutes on L3 NORMAL load setting.
@deedee28 ай бұрын
Normal load L3 is all messed up. What I do is select Gentle cycle, wash for 12 minutes (add extra five minutes from the default seven), reduce Rinse to 1 (from default 2) and you will get a 30 min wash and the water will fill up. You can keep 2 rinses but that will be 39 minutes wash.

@@deedee2 You know what is so fucking funny, I have completely independently from you had the EXACT SAME SOLUTION! Especially because Heavy I feel like puts more wear and tear on the washer/is more aggressive. I only use heavy on things like towels or super dirty clothes. For regular clothes I do what you do, L3 Gentle add extra 5 mins to the wash and add an extra rinse cycle. It's the way to go! I never understood why the programmed it this way. Also do you think the normal wash not filling all the way is intentional? I have never watched it so it may keep adding water as it goes but it didnt seem that way to me and even so the 81 minutes or whatever is absurd
