Hey guys, I was a Bernie voter in the primaries but lets face it, of course democrats in the democratic national convention were going to support a democrat over an independent. Did you expect less? Bernie knew this going in, he was told his chances would be better if he declared as a democrat (they still would have favored Clinton of course, but still) Sanders chose to remain independent because, imho, he didn't want to win but only wanted to push the liberal/progressive message in an increasingly moderate democratic party. And I still support him for doing so, we need to move more to the left.

Don't you think it is CLASSIC Clinton scheme? The party pretends to be left, then crawls back to right and hawkish war mongering. Classic Clinton strategy. Bill Clinton intervened militarily in more places then any other president in the 20th century, and he was supposed to be progressive and lashed at anyone who dared to challenge his so-called progressive stance.

Terrible job, terrible! Assange is apparently communicating over skype or something of that sort. The audio is digitized very crudely and comes out garbled & hard to understand. I'm hard of hearing, not deaf, so the sign language is of no help to me. I am somewhat capable of reading lips and his face is well lit, EXCEPT HIS MOUTH! I understand the sound & lighting problems are on Assange's' end, but Please, Please, Please, use captioning in situations like this so more people can understand what the fiddly-dink the speaker is saying!

Corie, his comment isn't edited and he says he is hard of hearing. Why don't you know what his problem is? My hearing is fine, but the speakers on my laptop suck, and even at full volume they are barely louder than the fan, so his muffled voice is quite difficult to discern for me as well.

Without wikileaks there are a very large number of things the people wouldn't know about that they should. Silencing whistleblowers has been a special skill that the modern governments of today have seemingly perfected. Paint them as traitors and make them go away quietly despite them only serving the public interest and exposing vast corruption and illegal activities while those responsible aren't held accountable for much if any of it. He has essentially sacrificed his rights and freedom to do this as you hurrdurr your way through life praising yourself as a genius while squirting out that verbal diarrhea that makes you think so much of yourself. What does it mean to stand up and fight the system then? The problem with your moronic idea of fighting the system "like a true hero" is that you haven't heard of 99.999% of those who have and also haven't heard anything they had to say because they are gone now, silenced by those they were fighting. Think a bit about what you're saying before you do, tends to end up better for those around you in the end. I'm sure you'll continue to think anyone who disagrees with you is ignorant in your bubble of bias and delusion fighting back with fallacies whenever someone touches too close to home.
