Only forty odd years ago, but it seems like another world. I recorded this off the TV. I recorded this from the black and white TV we had in the mid 70's. The portable cassette recorder and vinyl records were my guitar teachers back then.

I think you are mistaken. They have never used the same guitars throughout their careers. When this was recorded Williams was playing a Fleta and Bream a Romanillos. Williams did once play an Aguardo but only for a specific recording.

@Wartfacedfreak I think they used the same brand of guitar - Her. y Aguado but Juliam's spruce top, John, Cedar top. John once used cedar Fleta for some records, then, he changed to Smallman's. Julian used spruce Romanillos for some records.
