I can remember the Instagram snippets you presented of this song. My cousin heard me listening to the clip, stopped talking mid-sentence, and said, 'Who's that?' It blew him away. Someone who listened to rap music and this small chorus touched him. I remember him saying he hoped love wouldn't let him down. He was going through a reconciliation at the time. He passed not long ago. This song brought back the memory of that night and reminds me how powerful a piece of music can be in our lives. Thank you for sharing this with us Julian. It's an incredible song.

Is this poor guy going to spend his whole life mourning after his dad? He seems to get along very nicely without him. We All lose love ones; it’s time to move on!

Stephen Smith maybe he’s just dealing with it now. I wonder howJohn would be viewing the world as it is now?
@stephensmith602 жыл бұрын
@@karenburns9952 He's been dealing with it since his father's death (42 yrs.). I'm sure he's also had a lot of therapy over it. It's sad; no doubt. But it's more sad that he doesn't come to grips with it and let it go. He's NOT the only one who's ever lost someone. Who knows - maybe it's his way of milking sympathy from those who loved John. It wouldn't be the first time. I guess I've lost compassion or respect for him. Play a new song!

I'm sorry you feel this way. My take on it is that everyone deserves to walk their own pace in the grieving process. If it takes 3 years or 300 ,so what is it to you? This is a purely subjective journey. To be so judgemental is a very limiting attitude.
