@@ishgumi44 I got $50 saying that with him playing, you couldn't blind pick that guitar from a well setup Squier Affinity. 80% of that tone is coming from his playing. Its a good partscaster, no doubt, but he's making a lot of that tone himself with his hands.

Now I know why I keep coming back to Julian - I'm trying to pin the music down, but it keeps eluding me.. every time I feel like I can know where the melody line is going - suprise! Again it meanders unexpectedly in a new direction - tension building and exquisite release. I think this is the trio that really nails it best, btw. Julian: Love the expression - also the on your face :-)

Beautiful Julian, no one could have predicted you’d be playing like this when about 5-6 years ago or so you played a solo version of Autumn leaves that no one had ever approached it like that. Here’s what I’m saying in a nutshell Man you’ve grown and are playing things we’d never dream of back 5en or now. Your svoice is in you4 writing and the Tele. Fantastic Man. Now I wonder wha5 the next 5 rears will bring us? That’s the million dollar question. Keep it going it’s great to watch what your playing has gtown into. You never cease to amaze me. This piece is so beautiful. It s your Last Train Home tune if I may. You’ve got your own thing happening.

Is General Thunder a tribute to John McLaughlin, by chance? The chord right at 1:43 feels like the harmony to Mahavishnu's "Birds of Fire..." Wonder if there's some intention there or just a nice flavor for the moment.
