@@princess4u62 Aw, he's still so young. He will be okay. Better now than later, right? I wish I had paid more attention to my mother. But I was that, "This is boring!" type of kid. Now I'm 50+ and pretty much useless in the kitchen. Guide your son to Josh Cortis's channel too. He does a lot of freezer/prep meals where he can make a bunch of stuff and have it ready for the week.

I have a mother who started me and 3 sisters at a very young age to be responsible for keeping a household clean etc. I had my own kids, I swore I would never put them through that. Julia, I love how you pull together these themed videos. So helpful!! I haven't tried to do too many prep ahead meals, but these give me ideas for additional items I can prep ahead for the freezer in addition to making the batches of shredded chicken -- like a big batch of taco meat (chicken or ground beef), homemade meatballs, and stuff like that. I love this. I just started teaching this year & we're house hunting. Might have found the one. As soon as we move, we're getting a deep freeze & I'm doing this. I love the chili toppings. I also do seasoned tortilla strips when I'm not in a cornbread mood.
