Recently, a girl that my bf dated before me, sent me screenshots of romantic conversations she had with my boyfriend from BEFORE we dated in an effort to try to proof to me that they were “soulmates” and that she still considered him family. And apparently, since she met him before me, it was THEIR family that I was now part of (wtf). I politely tried to tell her that he probably did have very strong feelings for her at some point but things changed and it wasn’t like that anymore. Oh my goodness! I got angry just by hearing all the things that ex did, but you know what? Eileen doesn’t need that kind of negativity in her life and although it sucks, it’s a good thing this woman hopefully is no longer in Eileen’s life.
