I’ve been recently diagnosed with H pylori after suffering for 4 years. My symptoms range from stomach upset, nausea, discomfort after eating, nausea, bloating, joint pains, headaches, pain in the abdominal area, etc.. My doctor completely missed the diagnosis for all these years. It took a visit to a Gastro and an endoscopy to find out. Now I am finally on my road to recovery. Great presentation. It makes sense to me, when I first started having pylori symptoms was 4-5 years ago, I had lots of acid reflux, burping, gastritis etc, I never treated it because I didn’t know a bacteria could cause this and I thought all this was a response to my high fat/carb diet, after cleaning my diet I still had the symptoms.. 4 years from that and those symptoms have been greatly reduced without any treatment, but I got other diseases (confirmed) like candida and bacterial overgrowth, which IMO were caused by low stomach acid, thanks to the pylori. The scary part for me is that I believe that my chronic pylori, has made its way through the bottom of my stomach cells.. I believe this because, A) I no longer have acid related symptoms, B) I’ve done different tests to catch the infection with 2 positive tests and several false negatives (including a biopsy and blood) C) I have low stomach acid based on tests I’ve tried.. My question is, is there any protocol which incorporates urea with abx to attract pylori to the surface, out of the gastric glands roots?

If I do happen to have any of this, have you found what I can do to actually heal it or kill it all before it possibly getting any worst? I know that even over a decade ago I was feeling sudden sharp pains at certain times that would spring up under my heart I believe then would go away but while there, it would lead me to breathe diffidently cause it didn’t allow me or so I’d think, to breathe in all the way in without feeling that pain, then it’d leave. I know also got impacted by a minivan that nearly missed hitting me dead on at around 20mph; this was about 10 or more years ago. I never went to get checked. But after getting hit I felt like something started leaking behind my sternum downwards; I started hopping thinking that would stop that; it stopped, I felt I’d be fine and things got better. Things went back to normal. But it was before that accident that I was already feeling these sudden sharp pains that would come and go. Years after the accident; btw I was just crossing a street where I ran into the side of that minivan; I also noticed that if I jumped rope or ran, after a certain time or distance I’d start feeling like behind my abdomen there was an injury that would start hurting. Fast forwarding: I had a reaction 3 weeks ago that felt like my heart was under attack; a sudden uprising that lead to this sudden sharp attack underneath the heart; I didn’t say anything or get checked; then last Saturday I had another reaction that lead me to then goto emergency. They checked and said my heart, lungs were fine, blood pressure and all was almost perfect. So they prescribed 3 meds “Tylenol, Pepcid and maalox” because when they gave it to me it did me well; took away this ill stuffy feeling; but it hasn’t gone fully away; I didn’t continue taking the meds although they were purchased for me, and last night I had another reaction but not as bad. Me also googling doesn’t seem to help that much because I get back and forth statements from different people. Some say the meds are good as long as I don’t overuse while others say I shouldnt be taking them at all.

@ so what you are saying h pylori lowers the stomach acid, therefore bacteria and candida can florish? I got diagnosed with sibo, but i think the h pylori is the underlying cause, i have constant low stomach acid
3 жыл бұрын
@@gigafia5358 If you have/had pylori, its almost certain your stomach acid levels arent optimal, the reasoning behind that is because pylori actually lowers stomach acid for its survival and there is a theory that almost all of us have pylori but it only affects some people, and the reason is because the epigenetics of the person can contribute to it. Some drs claim that the reason people get pylori is because low stomach acid in first place, its like the chicken or the egg question. But in my case, yes pylori tend to lower stomach acid, yes SIBO can be caused by low stomach acid and candida too. Candida is just opportunistic, flourishes when somethings off for a long time, it could be chronic infections, low stomach acid, stress, antibiotics, high carb diet, and of course the MIX of 2 or more of those..

Are you sure that completely eradicating helicobacter would be a good thing? These things usually exist symbiotically. Best to fully understand its existential context before attempting to eradicate it. At the moment, in my view the better approach would be to figure out why those who don't succumb to it don't and why those who do, do.

From what I understood it is much more complicated because it travels deep into the stomach cells. and current treatment are not effective?

My doctor prescribed me antibiotics and it cured it up in less than 4 weeks. It's been 9 years but now I'm severely bloated again. They tested me for stomach cancer the first time and there was no stomach cancer. It is linked to cause stomach cancer and ulcers but it is not a high percentage of people that get cancer from it, so the researchers say.

I've been suffering with horrible flu like symptoms for years because of this pest. I've literally contemplated suicide from the amount of pain, I've broken my teeth from the clenching and the stomach acid constantly destroying my teeth. I've had 4 awful antibiotic treatments and none worked.

Have you done research on Siberian Pine Nut Oil. I've just been recently diagnosed with H Pylori & have suffered for years. Im looking into alternative treatments as well as antibiotics. You may also try a holistic naturopath. Regular doctors often seem to not know much about our ailment.

@@BusyBee-er5pp I just had an endoscopy and a colonoscopy done today. I have abnormal cell growth from the damage to my stomach lining FROM the pylori and years of wear and tear from chronic vomiting. I had to travel to larger city and have it done which traveling was very hard because I was already so sick and then I couldn't eat or do anything at all. I'm thinking about trying some supplements but honestly I feel like I'm just stuck. 😥

@@FeralDJ I too have further complications from all this. Its a long road. I was told about a Facebook group for H Pylori. I don't have social media but am going to join if it exists! There is a lot of us out there. Don't give up hope. Our bodies can heal, let's keep searching! It's also OK to be down about it too. Of course we are, we don't feel good & it can be scary. I feel best when I continue to search & connect with people to find healing!

@@BusyBee-er5pp I haven't really been able to reach out to anyone or find any kind of groups. But I can't keep going through this burning/stretching bowling ball sitting above my belly button constant bloating. I've started a new thing where I wake up in the mornings and try to have a bowel movement and instead I might start vomiting up mucus, foam and stomach acid which tears my muscles up more. I'll be drenched in sweat by the time I'm finally done retching and freezing cold from the sweat chilling as my body re-regulated itself. So extreme abdominal cramping, vomiting, diarrhea, nausea, constant bloating, also with my allergies to the important antibiotics, I feel even more screwed. I've tried 3 different aggressive treatments and I had to stop them all because they made my vomiting turn into exorcist vomiting and gave me neck convulsions out of nowhere while I was driving. My ulcer has healed luckily but now I have the abnormal mucosa in my stomach and it's so worrisome. I hope you can find the resources and a good doctor. I would suggest getting an endoscopy done so they can take a look inside and get a better look.

@@FeralDJ I appreciate you sharing your story because it helps us both. I'm going to check on some groups this weekend. I'll report back to you what I fine by Monday latest. I read Eckhart Tolle, The Powet of Now. It has helped me deal with my symptoms & thought life. It could help you too. I'll be in touch! I hope to find more of us.
