Salvaged an old wood crib from the curb. The metal springs were missing, and hardware, but both rails were nothing but SPINDLES! Plus cute small spindles on the top portion of the foot and head boards. I took the crib home and broke it down, saving every piece of wood for projects. Hope to start a ladder, risers and some bread boards soon. Thanks for all the inspiration.

Cribs are the best place to find the small spindles. I found one (side of the road) as well. Just the wood. And my kids and husband were like, "youre a hoarder", lol. If only they understood. But, idc, that crib is alot of spindles.

I also made some candlesticks from my head board and finished them up with those wood discs from Hobby Lobby and I ran out and just glued on a wood top to a candle (love to recycle)

Love them all! I've been eyeing the bed frames that really look like I can get alot of use out of them. Salvage that isn't a fortune I haven't been able to find yet in my area. I love the spindle bread boards the best! When I get a little more comfortable with my new table saw I think I'm going to try some. Those chunky bed spindles that are turquoise and white distressed would be amazing cut up for risers! No need for putting the discs on top either! They are even wide enough to stack!

Looooooooove the all white(not distressed) candle holder look! Also the Milk Paint. The bad and boujie way of saying Candle Holder = Candle Sconce or Candleabre. I follow Canterbury Cottage and she told me to check you out! You are exactly what I'm looking got in terms of taste level to elevate my lantern boxwood/flower wall! 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙌🙌🙌👏👏👏👏🌹🌹🌹 I live in NYC and after watching this video... I'm here dying bc ppl throw away nice large solid wood bedsets...with these big 4 wooden columns detached....I passed on them once....but the owner even asked me if I wanted him for the $free.99!🤷🙆🏽 my apt is too small to store this....sorry I ranting now...just love this though!♥️🌹👏🙌🙏🏽

G’day Julie. New to your channel mate. Like your enthusiasm and positive fun ideas and designs. Wasn’t aware you could on sell stuff from Thrift Shops. But we Aussies call Thrift Shops, Opportunity Shops, or just Opp Shops. We have thousands of them scattered throughout OZ. A lot are run by the usual suspects like the Salvation Army, Saint Vinnies. But a lot are also independent ones in the burbs or regional towns, just trying to raise funds for various charities. Never know what you’ll find though. Anyway, a big shoutout from Melbourne, Australia. Stay happy.👍🇦🇺😁☮️
