Hawke looks like Nick Nolte’s mug shot. He’s a washed up alcoholic, with a bad ticker, and a lot of baggage. Nevertheless, she wants him to sire her baby. Probably because he has nice teeth. Especially the lateral incisors. I bet dentists paid for this movie.

Supply & Demand - Man's not interested in something, in this case his girlfriend, someone else comes along and shows interest, all the sudden, man is interested in her again. I hope she ends up with the Hawk's character.
6 жыл бұрын
Not Supply & Demand, it is competition. Men can really not resist competition and they will try so much harder in a competition. Which is why some women try and get a few men to compete for her. Quite the simple manipulation. Competition just overrides their intelligence. Stupid men.

@@YesPlease1 "It's fine in this case when the guy's been ignoring her needs for a long time and isn't making any effort." - Now that is unacceptable in my book!! The man chose the woman and the woman chose him, he need to man up and give the woman what she needs. It is like a blowjob, it tastes terrible! But that is his need, for me to swallow it. Makes me sick for an hour, have vomited due to that. That is one of his needs so I provide it. If you are a woman too, you know how nasty women can get. Psychopath level!!! "It's shitty when women do this when the guy is making every effort and always has." - Oh yes, I agree with you completely. When I see this is done I inform the man of it. He should think with his brain instead of his genitalia. Some ignore me, poor desperate men.

Having read the book I have to this is actually the darkest comedy Nick Hornby has ever written, even darker than The Long Way Down, which is book about four persons committing suicide. I don't know how the movie will change the core of the book but I really hope it doesn't turn out to be too light-hearted as I absolutely loved the book.

Said his name was Paul, said he was in some band in England in the 60's called the bugs or the cockroaches or something. Claimed his friend also in the band named John was murdered & he had a wife named Linda, I think it was. Not sure I believed all his stories but he was a really nice guy.

I did love Poldark but it's gone down since the first season (as all shows do :/)- I also didn't like a scene where one of the 'good guys' rapes someone (although the cast/production ppl said it wasn't rape, you can make that judgement for yourself)- still, even now I have to watch it for the characters I love (although still heart broken from the death of my favourite character), and the setting/cinematography/costuming are all amazing- I'd honestly watch it just to see Cornwall look so beautiful. I'd describe it as an historical drama- almost like an historical soap but that sells it short... shit goes down though.

Forms Sim They're not married. He's her boyfriend who breaks up with her because she doesn't like the album of his idol. Besides he didn't want kids and she did so there were other issues. Michael Naughtin OP was right. It’s an English role as it’s set on the east coast of England, an adaptation of a novel by Nick Hornby who is quintessentially English. But more importantly there’s really no such thing as a British accent since those 3 separate countries have such vastly different accents. What we’d usually say over here is English/Scottish/Welsh, although a non-Brit could be forgiven for saying ‘a British accent’ when they actually meant English.

I've just watched this movie. Why did Annie look so scared and drop the relationship the instant she saw Tucker's grand-daughter? I mean it's not her daughter and she wouldn't be involved that much if she didn't want!! It just seemed odd that there was an instant shift away from a couple who get along amazingly to this sudden shift in mood. EDIT: Never mind, I wasn't paying attention and missed a 30s scene off in the distance where she says that Jackson has to be with his mother and Tucker has to be with the Jackson. I like to imagine she just immigrates some time in the future, doesn't seem like any big need for her to stay in the UK.

I wasn't sure how close it would be to the book until I read the reviews but the book is actually not light hearted and romantic. It's about broken people who can't move on. The trailer made me really laugh because the book was so cynical. But the reviews said they kept that aspect of the story intact and added a happier less ambiguous ending than the book.

Before you can see it. Years has past and you soon realized that you have accomplished nothing except bringing in 2 perfect beyond beautiful kids. Technically they hold there own they are perfect in there own right. You help them but they are perfect without you.

The best word for the movie might be agreeable. It's easy to glide along on its good-natured path. Have watched using boxxy software

LOL I thought Rose Byrne was an American woman on Bridesmaids and that other film! And the Irish chap is here too who played the police officer said “We’re not all that bad” to Annie.
