Woody Allen is one of greatest living filmmakers. Put your hands together for him, you Hollywood freaks.

They're a bunch of cowards. Rebecca Hall did recently apologized for saying regretted working with him because she felt pressured by the Farrows so good on her for doing that.
@OhSankYouDoktorАй бұрын
Absolutely! They are such fickle hypocrites. A few years back when he presented Diane Keaton with the AFI award, they gave him a standing ovation which he deserved. The Golden Globes honored him with the Cecil B. DeMille Award. So make up your mind - is he in or is he out?

I'm sure many wanted to applaud for Woody, but they were too frightened to let their colleagues know how they really feel.

Her filmography is extraordinary - some of my favorite films of all time, in addition to 43 with Woody. This was the most deserving award of the evening.

The hypocrites in the room. All of them. Nobody clapped for Woody Allen to whom Juliet Taylor gave tribute to. All bloody hypocrites.
@davidfilmexpertАй бұрын
All of them are also bloody cowards. Hopefully more will have the courage that Rebecca Hall has to acknowledge that the lies from the Farrows have always been false.

Some wanted to and got muffled. Just the usual fear and hypocrisy.

She is a legend as a casting director. You see her name in the credits of big movies but it's nice that finally they will get recognized for their important contribution.

Just an example of a briliant and totally unexpected piece of casting in a Woody Allen movie: Andrew Dice Clay in Blue Jasmine.

That immediately came to mind. But also the character actors that regularly appeared in his films, from the late '70s throughout the 1980s.

So glad she mentioned and thanked Woody Allen. He was never proven guilty of any of the Farrows' lies. Shame on the Academy for excluding his films from Juliet Taylor's credits on their website.

@@davidfilmexpert Actually, Mia's lawyers proposed to 'settle out of court' for a sum of, first 8, then 7, then 6, then 5 million dollars. This was halfway August 1992, *before* they made their abuse allegation public. The fact is: Woody Allen *refused* to settle anything. If he were guilty, he would of course have taken the offer, to avoid jailtime and other misery. But Woody did *not* take it, which is a very convincing argument for his innocence.

Fernanda Torres is undoubtedly on the path to becoming the next Oscar winner. Brazil has long been a vital contributor to the global box office success of U.S. films. It’s time for the USA to embrace a more inclusive vision and celebrate international artists whose remarkable talent has already earned global recognition-and deserves even more.
