Thanks for this review Juliet. I have to agree with you that this car won't knock the vivo off its pedestal, because I would certainly rather opt for the Vivo. The vivo offers more modern touches than the Figo. The service plan for the vivo, might be a sore point to touch on, but with that said it isn't that expensive and in my opinion worth every cent.

I have the same problem with the boot on my 2014 Volvo S80

I know my comment is much later than this review video was made, but I have a Figo sedan as a company vehicle, I have in 4 months done an excess of 15 000km, yeah I drive a lot. It is a fantastic little car, its super nippy and one of the most fuel economic vehicles I have driven. I use to have the previous 1.4 Figo, I had two actually, the first one that came out was a dream, the second one I bought, was a load of sh*t. I now have a pre-facelift 1.4 Fiesta as my private car, and I must say, this Figo will drive circles around the Fiesta. The Fiesta is more refined than the Figo though. If I travel at a decent speed and decent way of driving, I get about 5.6l/100, that's about 17.7km/l this includes aircon usage (this is calc'ed at a 40/60 town to highway driving). I think this is fantastic for a car in todays fuel price world. The 1.5 3cyl is punchy, and it really isn't a struggle in a loaded vehicle, you put your foot down and it just goes, rarely any gear changing needed. Do not be impressed if you get some wheelspin on pull away, because it happens a lot, more so if you're in a hurry or if the road is wet. It has an econo mode, which seems to only indicate when to change gears and I've heard it recalc's the engine to give less kw. I had my doubts when I first got it, but I am pleasantly surprised. I do have a few gripes with it, as Juliet mentioned, you have to bang that boot with force for it to close. The car is just under 3500revs sitting at 120km/h, as Juliet mentioned, a 6th gear will really do the trick here, but by the time you check yourself, you're doing 140km with no effort. The bluetooth is a bit finicky. I take calls a lot so my phone is connected to the bluetooth, usually it doesn't connect automatically when I move in and out of the vehicle, sometimes it does. Because my phone is connected to the bluetooth, it will connect to the bluetooth if you are in range of the vehicle and the vehicle is turned off and locked, which is weird. The driver window is actually auto up and down, my auto up and down works when it wants. The electric window panel of my car has come loose as well. Lastly, the car has an a alarm and fancy little flippy key. My key has started showing ware, but considering that I am using it more than the "normal person", I guess its understandable. When you press the lock button on the key once, the car only locks. You have to press the button twice to activate the alarm, which seems like a useless action. All in all, amazing little car, and really worth the money, the 3cyl engine has a lovely little growl (if you like it) and sounds like a tractor, and a super, super easy drive, very comfortable for doing long trips.

Juliet, please tell us more about the specs of the car, how much power does it produce? Torque? Can we get an estimate of how big the back seats are? The boot? Give me practical driver information about the car. If you wanna make videos shorter then cut the singing, not car specs

Love your reviews - so much personality in them :) the singing always makes me smile . That car is ugly though - I think its the same as the fiesta in the Uk but with a boots but the phone stand is a good idea and so obvious why more cars that don't have a touch screen don't have it is crazy
