dont like the reviewers attitude. very condescending and abrasive

Loving the team test format, nice to see that the presenters do not always agree. A fair blend of positive and negative attributes of the Figo that a potential buyer would appreciate

Greetings from Bergvliet, Cape Town. My family has a 2011 Figo 1.4 which my mom currently drives and In my opinion, as a blind person, it isn't as good as I would like it to be. The engine sounds more like what you would hear in the Fiesta that it is based on, just with a modern Fiesta starter. It sounds almost like a diesel under general acceleration, but not exactly like a diesel, the exhaust sounds too throaty and sporty when left standard (if you know the sound from a BMW straight 6 then you get the idea of the throatiness I'm talking about), I personally don't feel all that comfortable inside as the seats are very hard and the ride quality isn't that great as it is very hard going over bumps in the road and it definitely feels underpowered when climbing hills but it is lively and quick on flat roads. If I had to buy a Figo I would rather go with the Fiesta that it is based on with the 1.6l engine, but even that I feel a bit uneasy about because of it's sound characteristics. What I really like about the 1.6l Vw engines in the Golf 4,5 and 6 and the Polo and Polo Vivo is that when reving and accelerating with the window open to listen to the sound they make a sort of metallic tapping noise in all 4 cylinders, I don't know how else to describe it, and this sound goes away when the revs drop while changing gears, etc, and the exhaust is quiet but gives off a deep hum when left standard. This is mostly why I gravitate more towards those cars. Could you guys maybe try and get hold of a Figo-shape Fiesta with the 1.6l engine and do a sound clip of the engine and exhaust system?pe Town. As a blind person I would definitely take a Polo Vivo with the 1.6l engine any day over the Ford Figo. My family has a 2011 Ford Figo 1.4 which my mom currently drives and In my opinion it isn't as good as the Vw Polo Vivo which I haven't really been in much but I have when it was still just called the Polo. this is the same concept that 5th gear does, it does give you a combined perspective.
