@lisaroyals13413 жыл бұрын
I like the Hot tools side better plus I personally wouldn’t be able to pay $550 for a hair tool even with all of the extra attachments. I’m getting my Hot tools brush dryer today via Amazon and can’t wait!! Thanks for your videos, very informative.
@sewathome4 жыл бұрын
I feel like it would make more sense to compare the Dyson's round brush attachment. Then you could have used the same technique as your other styling tool. And it would be straighter because of the tension.
@nicolekatmi4 жыл бұрын
After owning the dyson for over 6 months, I would actually agree with her using the attachment she used. It’s much more efficient in drying the hair and smoothing. The round brush is great for adding volume at the root though. I don’t even use that attachment (round brush) and it’s the reason I bought the dyson! 😅
@nicolekatmi4 жыл бұрын
It would be super cool if dyson made more attachments to add to the dyson. The round brush is just too small in my opinion. ☹️
@nancythompson64254 жыл бұрын
I'd never ever spend anywhere near $550 for a hair dryer. That's ridiculous for something that blows hot air. Having said that, once you used the round brush attachment on your ends, I preferred the Dyson side because there was slightly more volume. It's actually a very flattering look on you with your shaped face. I also know, as the day wears on, porous curly hair absorbs moisture from the atmosphere so both sides are likely to puff up a little bit, even with product in it. Either way, your hair is absolutely gorgeous, curly or straight, as are you.

a family member has the air wrap and i've tried it on my curly hair... DEFINITELY takes more effort to blow out my hair than with the revlon one step (which another family member has)! not to say it isn't a great tool because it is! i just prefer the revlon (or in this case the hot tools!) if I'm not wearing my hair curly!

@DonnaQC4 жыл бұрын
There is a round brush attachment! That's the one I use to blow out my whole head of hair when I don't want so much heat damage like the hot tools can cause over time.
@rockysmom4 жыл бұрын
@@DonnaQC I just got it and using the brushes because I feel like my hair feels less hot with them ie. Less damage. My hair is fine and bleaches so it breaks easily. I feel like the metal material and bristles on the round brush are rough on my hair and I haven't tried the Hot Tools

@@rockysmom that makes sense. My hair is not thin or thick, just normal. So probably makes more sense to adjust for your hair.

I LOVE YOUR REVIEWS. ALWAYS SO INFORMATIVE. I WILL SAY I WAS LIKE YOU, I THOUGHT THE HOT TOOLS WAS BETTER THEN THE DYSON. THE DYSON WAS GIFTED TO ME. I WASH MY HAIR 2 TIMES A WEEK SO I BLOW DRY TWICE AS WELL AND I HAVE NOTICED A BIG DIFFERENCE. FOR 6 MONTHS I DID HALF OF MY HAIR WITH THE DYSON AND THE OTHER HALF WITH THE HOT TOOLS(I GOT THE CHARCOAL VERSION) AND THE SIDE I DID WITH THE HOT TOOLS MY CURL PATTERN GOT LOOSER (3C CURL PATTERN)AND I HAVE ALOT OF HEAT DAMAGE. I DONT KNOW WHY THAT IS THO. I GAVE MINE TO A RELATIVE OF MINE WHO HAS NATURALLY STRAIGHT HAIR AND SHE HASNT NOTICED DAMAGE. SO MAYBE IT JUST HAPPENS WITH CURLY HAIR.
@Deano65714 жыл бұрын
I hate to admit it but the hot tools side did a way better job of smoothing and styling your curly hair hunny! And I noticed that the dyson kept blowing all the hair around whilst you were trying to dry/style it which must be hecka annoying!!? It would be for me! I have the Dyson blow dryer for my salon and I love it, especially with the really thin concentrator nozzle on it, it gives hair stylists complete control of the high airflow and it has brought my blow out time down by 10-15 minutes because of the super powerful airflow!! 💕💕💕

I bought the Revlon when the hype was on, but quickly realized that the materials are cheap and burn my hair. I had breakage and frizz galore! Then hottools came out, claiming the gold coating will distribute the heat even and not burn the hair. Tried it. Failed again. Idk what I’m doing wrong. Our hair seems similar in texture and thickness. I always go back to my Dyson Blowdryer and a good old round brush.

Why don’t you get the dyson she used in this video?
@kellytallia72144 жыл бұрын
Patricia Urlass Try using a hair mask beforehand. Also - I think that a cream heat protectant works better than a spray bc it coats the hair better before styling. Follow up with a split end mender and/or hair oil. I know it sounds like a lot (it kind of is a lot) but I imagine you’ll see a difference. Just gotta work those products.

I normally get great quick results (20mins) using my blow dryer and brush on dry hair and I’m just wondering if this would compare?? Is the air coming through quite fast and hot? (Like a pro hair dryer with nozzle?) I normally go through my hair sections 3 times Thankyou in advance!

I know that now you often show the T3 dryer with brushes. Do you honestly recommend that over this Hot Tools dryer? I think you might be a spokesperson for T3 (but I'm a brand new subscriber as of today so I'm not sure). I want a brush-hairdryer but I've heard the Hot Tools is slightly better than the Revlon (more tension for thick wavy hair like mine). However, I if the T3 has a good amount of tension, I might want it. I just worry the round brush makes a "too bouncy" look for me, and the paddle brush might be a bit like the Dyson side of your hair in this video.

Ok here is my honest opinion since I have the two I prefer the dyson because is cordless and I make my hair sleek but voluminous which I like also is a little heavy but I dont mind. The hot tools straightener make my hair pretty but with a little of frizz. Really is depend of what you like. I save and buy the dyson collection meaning blowdryer that I give to my mom, airwrap and the straightener and I am to be honest with you I am never going back to another tool for my hair.

Every video that you do is with soaking wet hair. You need to dry your hair more then the heat spray. The serum is good too. Not to much of it. You don't want greasy hair. A little goes a long way. Treasme heat spray is very good up to 450 heat protection.
