Every culture for centuries would fight and conquer for land. Why is it only bad when white people did it. Native - definition- a person born in a specific place or associated with a place by birth, whether subsequently resident there or not. Anyone born in Canada is native to here. All this stuff does is divide people. Learn about history so we can know what has been done wrong and learn from it so we do not repeate it. Nice rendition though I disagree on the word change. My family has been here since 1597 when my great great great grandfather married a Cherokee woman, making me Metis. Canada is certainly my home. It is also just as much home to all the families who have immigrated here since then including those who immigrated recently. In this country, we pride ourselves of our inclusion of all peoples. And we have all made a home here. Although "We all stand on guard for thee" we cannot all call it our home?
