I started planning to cook enough for at least 1 night of leftovers the following night and it's been a huge game changer. Cut cooking nights in half.

I cook for two days at a time. You can also precook your protein for two days . Also, I like to freeze some meals . Mom, wife life can be challenging !!

Love the budgeting! Do you use multiple cards/accounts or the cash envelope system to help with the categorizing? And how do you only spend $650 on food lol this is a silly question but do you guys ever use paper plates, paper towels to clean, or plastic utensils? Thanks ❤

Love budgeting too! We use our credit card that earns cash back, paying it off as we go. We don’t use the new envelope system. I just use my expense tracker on excel and update it a few times a week to see where we are at. I meal plan each week, so I only buy exactly what we need. It helps keep costs down. We don’t use paper plates or plastic utensils. We use paper towels as napkins and some cleaning!

My husband works overtime currently, so a lot of the household falls on me while he busts his booty at work! He helps when he’s home though.
