lovely fabrics. Really like the embroidered cotton. Wardrobe by me Abby dress, or tilly Nell with buttons and the puff sleeve would be lovely but still day appropriate and wearable. Look forward to seeing what you choose to make

The Nell dress would be really cute! I like the shape of the Abby dress, I hadn’t seen it before. They are both good options, I’ll add it to my list ☺️ thank you xx

I' ve just started sewing the Penelope dress by Emporia emporia, rather puffy sleeved😂 maybe you could try it in the caramel embroidered fabric

It is very pretty, I love that pattern. I’m not sure I would have enough fabric though,I would need to shorten the skirt or sleeves 🤔 or I could shorten it to a top maybe xx

Thank you! That detail is a gathered keyhole so I’ve named it a gathered keyhole sleeve ☺️ xx

How about Simplicity S8910 for the embroidered fabric? You might need to draft the sleeves yourself though. And I recommend lining the bodice (not in the instructions, but would make it more comfortable). And I completely get the whole "yes I cut this out LAST year feeling"!

lol! It’s brilliant to find something cut out from last year to finish. That simplicity pattern is very cute. I’m not sure if I will manage a full/gathered skirt with fabric this narrow though. Maybe the shorter length would work though xx

@@lamazifabrics You might be OK, the skirt pattern pieces aren't all that wide (I make them wider!)
