July Talk is our family favorite band. My 5 year old rocks out on his way to boarding and knows all the words... singing along and rocking out. Seeing them live in Edmonton made me love them even more - I thought not possible!!! If July Talk - the first album - was some kind of wonderfully delirious time capsule of music types (blues, country, garage rock), Touch feels more contemporary. It's not better than the first album, and I'd argue it never quite reaches its glorious heights, but it is a must listen for fans of this amazing group. I'm not totally sure where they're going next, but I know I want to be there.
