I just love the aggression in this song. There's such a hard edge to the arrangement-- drums, bass, the guitar, the lead male vocal, beautifully juxtaposed with the lead female vocal and the ambient sound backing her..... y'know?

So much energy, when they came here Leah pretended to piss on the stage with a water bottle. It was a WTF! kind of moment, but I didnt care because it just made sense. She also called out a guy next to me for him wearing shades, I was scared she pointed at me initially. Good times.

I knew I recognized some of the locations: 0:20 - escalators at Walmart, Dufferin Mall, Toronto 0:22 - cleaning supplies (south-west quadrant, main floor), at Walmart, Dufferin Mall, Toronto. 0:41 - Adelaide & Duncan St, Toronto, facing north. 0:48 - Kensington Market, Toronto. 1:51 - definitely not Toronto - we don't have palm trees.

July Talk is our family favorite band. My 5 year old rocks out on his way to boarding and knows all the words... singing along and rocking out. Seeing them live in Edmonton made me love them even more - I thought not possible!!! Completely outstanding performers, stage presence, interaction with the crowd (I think they saw me LMAO), and musical talent!!! Please keep doing what you love and sharing with us!

Heard a couple weeks ago on local radio station and just can't get enough of your sound. I have listened to most of your KZbin videos including interviews and your on the road videos. If July Talk - the first album - was some kind of wonderfully delirious time capsule of music types (blues, country, garage rock), Touch feels more contemporary. It's not better than the first album, and I'd argue it never quite reaches its glorious heights, but it is a must listen for fans of this amazing group. I'm not totally sure where they're going next, but I know I want to be there.
