You can take the suckers off when they get big enough and plant them to make more tomato plants without having to start from seed. Do it before the suckers flower. It will also help the mother plant. At least that’s what I have heard. Succession planting of your tomatoes. Do just like you’re are transplanting. Just a thought. Beautiful garden. Love your garden ❤️❤️❤️

Your apple trees: it's called Apple Cedar Rust. My trees get it every year, guaranteed! I’m in zone 8b, coastal SC. And baby, I don’t know who this weather thinks it is. We have been in the high 80s, very low 90s (90s rare for us this close to the coast) with real feels at 100 and 97/98% humidity. It was a 120F in my car yesterday. Gardening during the day has been super limited for me. Me and my plants are trying to figure out what is going on. 😓 Those leeks will be fine. Give them a good soaking and then keep the soil moist and add some nitrogen. I’ve had mine in the ground since last year and they have taken some beating. They like a lot of water to size up, but they have survived through some dry periods. Try some more bloom if you prefer liquid fertilizer. Seems like a higher phosphorus and potassium fertilizer is needed for that bed. Potassium gives you fruit. Beans don’t need much. Those zucchini plants feed heavily and also need lots of water. A 1:1 phosphorus (roots) and potassium (fruit) is not enough.
@YellowDoorUrbanHomestead Жыл бұрын
I totally understand! The weather is very tough on the plants right now. Thanks for the tips on the leeks! I appreciate it!
