Do you know how accurate the sensor is please? Mine seems to fluctuate on resting heart rate at same times of different days ...fluctuates by quite a bit

Where is it that you can set it to turn off monitoring at night? My battery life is not the greatest and I'm trying to find where there is an option to lessen the interval of HR monitoring.

Yea I've been trying my hardest to find that as well

A good info video... but how do you view your AVERAGE heart rate after an activity for record purposes? Thanks

Hey great videos, is that a aftermarket watch strap. I find my instinct 2 band is a little short, would love a long one. Thanks Stuart
@JUMBLE201510 ай бұрын
It is aftermarket. Garmin wants to charge $50 for replacement straps, which is crazy. I get mine off aliexpress. They take a while to get delivered, but I get them for about $5 or less and find them more comfortable than the original Garmin ones. Here is the link to the one in this video, hope it helps - www.aliexpress.us/item/2255800868156777.html

We cannot change the face of the widget? Like the main one (I would like to extend the plot from 4hours to more) but i don’t know if it’s possible

How does this watch track heart rate if you want to wear the watch "upside down" (i.e. the watch on the bottom of your wrist ). I bought this watch for my son who is in the Air Force and he wears his watch on the bottom side of his wrist.

it will still track it the exact same it still beams the veins on the under of the arm

No there is not. That would be cool though. Thanks for watching!

above your wrist bone? seriously then you can't bend your hand up with out shoving the watching into your arm, plus it doesn't feel right.

Above the wrist bone. As in not on your hand but towards your elbow more...

Where do I find the option to disable tracking my heart rate while sleeping?
@JUMBLE2015 Жыл бұрын
It is under the battery saver option. You can basically turn off heart rater monitoring while in battery saver, then set the watch to go into battery saver mode during your sleep times (thus also turning off the HR monitoring while sleeping).

I'd like to see a demo of setting hi/lo HR for running/hiking ... would especially like to know if it's a vibration or a beep, and how it sounds.
@JUMBLE20153 жыл бұрын
This video might help. kzbin.info/www/bejne/eZPVh2iwmNGrZpo - regarding the vibration or beep it will follow whatever you have setup in your alert settings. Let me know if you need more.

Can someone PLEASE tell me what NO zone stands for
@Rocky-uy7sd2 жыл бұрын
The heart rate monitor has 5 levels based on beats per minute, from warmup (zone 1) to maximum (zone 5). If you are in NO zone, your beats are too low to be classified as in a zone. If you are not doing an activity/workout, chances are you’ll be in no zone

What about swimming? Does it track heart rate during activity?
@wongkokleong8062 жыл бұрын
Hi, may i know if you manage to fix your problems? My garmin instinct don’t have the option to track heart rate when swimming.

Yes all activities

Good video! I'm having issues when I start an activity. It takes 10 minutes at times to accurately start tracking my heart rate. My apple watch does this instantly but the garmin takes a while. When it does kick in it's very accurate. Do I have a defective unit? It reads a number but it's much lower and is fairly static while I'm workout out or hiking up a hill so I know the apple watch is reading it right. Any ideas?
@JUMBLE20153 жыл бұрын
Hum, I would not say you have a defective unit yet but I would definitely recommend calling Garmin to see what they say. I will say this, the few times I called them their customer service was very good. All I can recommend is the make sure your sensor screen (back of the watch is clean), and that you have the watch nice and snug on your wrist. When I start and activity the only thing that takes time, is every now and then the GPS will take a few seconds to a minute to connect. . . but that is it. The heart rate is immediate. The heart rate zones will take a while to show data because your activity needs to be going for a while before the zone can be detected. If it is taking 10 minutes before you see any heart rate data, then yeah give Garmin a call. Hope that helps, have a good one!
@austinslater47733 жыл бұрын
@@JUMBLE2015 thanks for the quick reply I appreciate it! It reads a number but it's stable at like 108 while my heart rate is obviously higher and closer to apples reading of 150(intervals and or climbing hills). I'll call them today tho and see what's up. It is cold here and that could be messing with it too. Thanks again!
