Endless Legend was one of the best Turn-based games, but was so limited by the engine and the fact that it was a very early entry for Amplitude. Considering how good it was, they honestly just need to update it slightly and you will have a 10/10 game.

I can't wait one thing I love about endless legends compared to other 4x games is it allows U to play tall while also being active in the world. Each faction was able to play tall using their own unique mechanics to funnel back to the capital keeping them selfs competitive. where most other 4x games fail to do this unless Ur playing wide or just want to kill someone the is no reason to leave Ur boarders. I loved playing as the bugs and creating a super hive after farming bioass in the wars I waged or using the orbs I gained from winter to create conditions that my race loved while others suffered letting me pillage them

One of the things I REALLY hope they improve on is the AI. EL had some of, if not the most diverse faction system of any 4x you can play. Unfortunately, this meant the AI was vastly under equipped to deal with these unique playstyles. Sometimes it was alright for some of the more "basic" factions like wild-walkers, but the more complex they got the worse the AI was at playing them. I still pray that faction complexity is maintained in EL2 but with major improvements to the AI!

For me Endless Legend is still the most played turn-based strategy game. I had tears in my eyes when I heard the "I am many things" :P And yes, the team had outdone themselves again.

So far i do have concerns over only have 6 factions at launch instead of 8 like all their previous 4x games and the fact that we r down to 6, on a new planet and we are still going to get some reused factions from previous entries. With what looks to be 3 of the 6 factions returning ones

Ah, nice! The name of this game is like made for Kiwis :) Great vid mate, looking forward to seeing more of the game. As a noob, I hope it's streamlined a little bit, if not in functionality perhaps just in clarity and UI. I felt similarly about Humankind for some reason. I'm not even sure what it is. Anyway, would really love to play a brand new fantasy strategy game like this overall.

My only hope for Endless Legend 2 is that the Empire Creation is as in-depth or even more so than in Endless Legend 1. Personal fav was making a Gold consuming Ghost empire.

Nice to see amplitude is making another Endless legend....though I much rather would've preferred an Endless space. There is however another Humankind update that they will be announcing soon as well so good to know there is life in that game as well. Between the current Civ 5,6 and Humankind I actually much prefer humankind.

Endless Legend got me into 4x, cant wait, tbh id lost faith in amplitude after endless space 2, just dont think there games have been as good, they left Sega in November tho so maybe with less corporate interference there magic might be back.

hopefully Amplitude learned their lesson after endless legend and humankinds failure, they decided gameplay and content was not a priority compared to certain other "goals" i'll wait to see if they earned this they lost pre-order trust already.

It's too bad endless space decided to use these same goofy characters. I love their UI design but the content is pretty hit or miss. The tech tree in endless space is almost as goofy as their aliens
