I'm just a quarter way into the video and haven't seen a legit jump ball yet. Players can easily reach higher points than where the refs were throwing those balls, this favors especially the smaller guys since now it's more of a quickness competition rather than "jump ball". Take Grant Williams vs Rudy Gobert for example, the highest point which referee threw the ball (actually it could have gone a couple inches higher if Williams didn't tap it which is I believe against the rules) Rudy is reaching that point without jumping or even fully extending his body. You need to throw the ball further than the point that any of the players can reach, then they will try to tip it once it's on the way down and they are not allowed to tap it when it's on the way up, that's proper jump ball.
