Great video. Love the way you plan things out and use the marker to get everything back in place.

I worked under an Hvacr contract with our local paper mill and exactly what you are seeing is the same thing I saw every day lol the workers are probably using that parts room to cool off in or something. They usually run the thermostat wide open or bypass the chilled water actuators where it cools constantly lol

When I was in commercial my chief would have had us do that. We did our best to do the work in house.

Good job, The key way kicked out on the pulley, and probably ruined the motor.

Great video as usual. Just wondering, for the pulley, i believe you probably couldve sawed the shaft off with the pulley on with a porta band since you just needed the information from the back for the parts shop. I remember there is also i believe a way to measure it and get info for it from that, but adjustable sheaves i think are trickier for that than the standard pulley. Either way great stuff I really dig the facilities equipment videos.

Being the same motor u know u only needed to undo the small nut and bolt on each end of the motor on the clamp. and swap them straight over. Hope this saves u some time next time

That was a super small supply vent for that unit. Luckily it’s chill water and want freeze up.

Only other thing I would have done was to clean the squirrel cage blades. They looked pretty caked with dirt.
