What treatment is that? "Extra Plastic" ?

@Whiteplane3 жыл бұрын
Yes. Yes Yes. The Mustang's interior is bad for the price point. drop 60k on Mach 1 and you cant help but feel screwed
@Enforcer_WJDE3 жыл бұрын
@@yanboa Treatment like the F-150. I can't understand why the Mustang as their halo car get's such a cheap interior compared to the F-150 which is their halo truck. I don't know how panel gaps are on other US vehicles from Ford because i live in Europe and only got a 2006 Fiesta ST and a 2010 Mustang GT that had excellent panel gaps and only one misalignment in the interior on the passenger side dash where iirc the airbag is supposed to pop out and only fingernail sized spot on the hood paint wise. But for the price it should have way better quality control. And what's bad on extra plastic if it's done right. You are acting as if none of the luxury cars has any plastics. Even BMWs and VW look cheap nowadays.

I'm surprised by their take on the power, in the Ranger the 2.3 is a beast. Must be geared differently in the Bronco, or is a big old heffer
@jimmyr16833 жыл бұрын
They probably only had regular gas in there
@sappyjohnson3 жыл бұрын
Me too. The torque and 300hp of the 2.3 will be the most I've ever had in a vehicle. I think I'll be happy with it.
@ShersGarage3 жыл бұрын
Bronco is about 300-500 lbs heavier. 2.3 is a beast. I don't see why it wouldn't move the Bronco. Considering Jeep uses a 2.0
@joshuapisani18533 жыл бұрын
@@ShersGarage Their comparison was in reference to the available 3.6L Naturally Aspirated Pentastar V6, though. Larger displacement and no forced air is going to be a recipe to have the vehicle "feel" like there's tons of immediate torque. I think the 2.3 in the Bronco will be adequate, but the 2.7L V6 with 10 speed automatic seems like a winner. It's relatively powerful vs. competitors even in the 1/2 ton full size truck market.
@ShersGarage3 жыл бұрын
@@joshuapisani1853 3.6 has less power on paper. Also loses power in higher altitudes. Though Jeep is lighter, so that helps. 2.3 has most of its torque down low but starts to lose juice in higher rpms. I could see this difference when Ford went to 2.3 in the Explorer. It doesn't seem to have much torque higher up compared to 3.5. But definitely feels zippy going around town.

The Bronco looks and performs so much better with the KO2s. The Goodyears caked up with mud on the Bronco, and struggled to evacuate and maintain traction. Had to engage the lockers more than I expected to. With the KO2s, never had those problems.

Ford is doing well with the Bronco and Raptor lineup. Ford is making toys, selling more than cars or pick-ups. It's something that Jeep and Suzuki understand before, with the Wrangler and Jimny

Looks Awesome! I'm not a fan of Ford. Back in 86, my buddy and I both purchased a Ford Bronco II. Less than a year the internal engine rusted out due to a leaking intake manifold gasket. I had my oil changed at the Ford dealership and they showed me all the internal rust pouring out of the engine. Ford issued a recall. I immediately got rid of it and purchased something else. My buddy stuck with it. Within 9 months the engine seized, about 15,000 miles. After $3000 and Ford installed a new engine, it never ran right and he lost his shirt. It was a very long time ago, but you can see why I'm hesitant to purchase a Ford product. But this New Bronco really looks tempting though.
