Awesome video Shaun, you know one thing for sure Braun is a get'er done kind of friend to wheel with, he is not afraid of work, that night sky wow is all that can be said, the drone footage is epic as always, that first campsite on the river bank, great spot and the washouts gnarly and very cool, hats off to the dudes in the Tundra still paying homage to his friend that crashed fire fighting 48 yrs ago , the pilot was only 50 yrs old ,this mechanic has to be in his 70's , a rare breed not many around these days, looking forward to your next video, Bruce is awesome with a restless spirit for adventure 👍

If you get a chance to go back to Cabin Lake and do the hike into the Conair crash site it is worth it. The hike is not difficult, but does take a bit of time. There are a few routes in (I took the easier one from Cabin Lake). The plane is in pieces along a rock/scree slope; most have slid toward the bottom of the slope. The crash was quite violent and the parts show it. It sits in a horseshoe shaped hanging valley. The walk in is beautiful and the exploring around the slope is interesting. At just over 6000 feet this site has snow for a good part of the year, so late summer and into the fall are the best times to visit for most people. If you are a Geocacher there is a cache nearby. Thanks for taking us along on another adventure!

TI's amazing the people you run into out the bush. In looking at the dedication plaque, and it listing Stoyoma Mtn as the location, I Google mapped it, and in the Sat. pics, just north of said mountain, there are two pieces of something, different color than anything around them, could be the remnants of said plane. Which puts them over the top of the mountain directly north and east, or behind the little peninsula you were all parked on at Cabin lake. BTW, always enjoy your videos, and seeing the sights in Canada's back country.

Or someone should of gone around first to go down that little hill climb . This one guy In Utah does it all the time . He goes in reverse an starts making it less steep . On wash outs like that .

What is the answer to get the longer wheelbase up that incline. Is it taller tires, more horsepower or is it still the winch?
@TheStoryTillNow2 жыл бұрын
More ground clearance, so taller suspension and or bigger tires. It was manly my rear end dragging that was causing a problem because of the steep departure.
