I love the vlogs like this one, where you travel to other youtubers' barns to ride their horses. It makes me so jealous and it really reinforces the concept of comradery in the community. It's not every sport where competitors train each other and sincerely wish them well. Lauren's horses are gorgeous and so talented, and I love her new place. Great video!

The mare, Momo, was beauty in motion to watch jump, Chiarra's GP Horse though, WOW!! He had springs coiled up in his legs!! He literally, even in just the trot, you could tell he was going to be one of those horses that would be super careful, and be upset a bit at himself if he rattled a pole!! Because the two times he did, and you brought him back down that grid line, he DIDN'T TOUCH A POLE AGAIN Holly!! He's stunningly well put together as well. Chiara can be proud of this boy for sure. I hope she owns him and isn't a ride that can be taken away from her. Because I think the two together would make an awesome team!! You may not know it from my name, but I do have Irish in me as well. My one great grandmother came from Cork!! @@iChiaramba Slow and steady always wins the race everytime!! That's how I take it with all the 4 yr olds I back. I'll back them one summer, and they have the winter off, then the following Spring, after foaling season, they come back for a tune up, with the owners and I alternately riding them. I'll give the horse the warm up, the owner a 1/2 hour lesson, then I'll get back on for a bit of flexion and lateral work at the walk and cool out. And they all get started in a rubber bit, that they have to carry themselves. No wrinkles at the sides of their mouth at all. The horses become so light to the slightest movement of rein, because you are using more your body and legs before hands in asking for any downward transition or even an upward on. That when they go to a D-Ring Sweet Snaffle, you hardly ever have to use hands at all. Taking your time with him, sparing his legs and preserving that jump and willingness to take you there is the key to a great partnership. How old is Marti? Love from a Retired Paramedic and Horse Trainer in Ontario, Canada, Jenn. 💖 💖 🇨🇦

WOW -- Chiara and Lauren have some beautiful and TALENTED horses there. That bay boy that you rode second Holly was amazing -- as someone else said, I thought, that horse has springs instead of legs. What a great experience for you Holly and you are such a good rider and so brave and bold too. I just loved watching and listening to these rides. Also, so nice to see comradery among horsewomen, beautiful horsewomen.

I'm convinced Lauren lives on a different planet or in a different reality because she truly is living the dream 🤣 Momo is like a little fairy flying over the jumps and floating along while Marti is a rocking horse with a jetpack.

I once dreamed to ride horses like that - then when I got my horse I realized I loved the powerful yet controllable side. I am no where near good enough to ride horses like that, nor do I have the confidence to. Super impressed

Nice to see the riding in the grid. Do you feel there's a big difference with these GP horses comparing to yours? Or in what way does it feel different? Curious to know..

@sixmercer25042 жыл бұрын
Who was the grey at the beginning? I was just wondering why he/she was so behind the vertical and below the bit. Their nose was down almost between the knees for most of the ride. I'm NOT throwing shade at all!!!! I'm just curious because it seemed like that horse would be really hard to ride let alone jump since they were looking at the ground. The last two were incredible! It was like they were waiting for the REAL jumps to be set up. The last horse is so beautiful and I can see him on a cross country course (my favorite event ever)! He's really something!!!
