@@gersonmatos1251 👍 very good correction but let me add an improvement, the American crocodile’s habitats are South Florida, Cuba, Central America and the north part of South America. They are not as big and powerful as the Australian crocs. I’ve seen many crocodiles in the Miami area.

Here we KNOW what's below, so we don't care a lot. Personally, I recommend small rivers with clear water. To be really sincere, they should never swim in that water... Not even during the daytime. There are safer places, with waterfalls...

Yes it is preserved, MORE than 80 % of the Amazon Forest it is PRISTINE as it was 500 Years ago ! We have laws that when you buy a piece os land in the Amazon Region you JUST CAN USE 20 % of YOUR OWN LAND 80 % of YOUR PROPERTY MUST BE PRESERVED ! Which other Country around the Globe has such kind of RESTRICTED ENVIRONMENTAL Law ?

Such lovely adventures... When I was younger I did night time jungle tours in Belize looking for Crocs and snakes... found a few of those :) So also had dolphin swimming alongside our boat quite often when the salt water entered the rivers... Great memories came back watching your videos! THANK YOU!!!

Good video-I was there about 20 years ago. Piranhas are said to be delicious-but lots of small bones. As for the wildlife, most people do not realize that most of the animals in the forest are nocturnal-the hunt at light-so you cannot see them.

Every time I watch these videos it seems like I feel jealous of the relationship these two have. You rarely see any couple that seem as compatible and smitten as these two. They're very lucky to have found each other and it adds to the already interesting content of the videos

I did the same kind of trip, only further in and more remote. There are Caiman there as opposed to your regular crocodiles or alligators, considerably less dangerous. When the forest is flooded like this it's very safe to swim in the river, even where people regular fish for piranhas. The pink dolphins were the most impressive wildlife there in my opinion.

@@JumpingPlaces This was way back in 1997, so I couldn't tell you I'm afraid. Booked it from Manaus and it was a launch trip and then an overnight boat ride. Still remember it vividly though, just water and jungle + the wildlife, the trip of a lifetime!

Impossível ter uma noção do tamanho da floresta apenas visualmente, ela cobre a maior parte dos estados do Norte do Brasil e ainda tem a parte dos países vizinhos. Mas cabem vários países da Europa na floresta, acho que é a melhor forma de ter alguma noção do tamanho dela.

Hepatitis A, Typhoid, and Yellow Fever vaccinations are recommended, and a lot of insect repellent!

Are you talking about covid ? If so, you need to get at least 2 shots of Pfizer/Astrazeneca or 1 shot of Janssen. If you're planning to visit the indigenous areas you'll need to get a lot of vaccines cause they have weak immune system.

Os piratas atacam em determinadas áreas da Região onde eles sabem que haverá cargas para eles saquearem. A polícia tem o mapa de onde os piratas costumam atacar. A área onde está a pousada e foi feito o acampamento, está muito longe das áreas de atuação dos piratas. O (Estado Amazonas) é muito grande e pouco populoso. Pra se ter uma idéia do tamanho TERRITORIAL do (Estado do Amazonas), se o (Estado do Amazonas) fosse um país, o (Estado do Amazonas) seria MENOR apenas do que o Brasil e a Argentina, na América do Sul. Por favor, quem ler esse comentário não confundir o (Estado do Amazonas) com a (Região Amazônica).

E acontece, sim, nas beiras onde vc fica dando bobeira e em pleno rio. É como um roubo comum, só que via rio, entende!? Amazonas e Amazônia são diferentes, porém são INERENTES um ao outro. 🏖🛣🏞 I think the video was amazing and kind of funny towards the end, chocking the crock hahaha. I think that swimming with the piranhas so Carol and Chris are out going where few have or ever will go. I noticed the two meats day dreaming of Carol and dirty looks to you. Found your chanel just a couple weeks ago, with the amazon. The pace you video and talk at is very calming and relaxing (and make me want to go!). I did a similar boat tour few years ago in Costa Rica along the border of Nicaragua. We saw lots of water birds and also other wildlife but what was scary was seeing a leaping white face capuchin monkey and they sounded like a roaring lion echoing the jungle. No piranhas though, I think it can only be found in the Amazon? If I’m right… I would love to do a tour in the Amazon and experience fishing piranhas and stay at least overnight like you did.
