Good review, but I feel this rope can be a bit more versatile than you say. First off it appears your rope came with their lightweight uncoated speed cable, in which case yea, pretty much a double under speed rope. However when ordering you have several choices as to which cable weight you prefer. The Buff 3.4, Elite 2.6, Ultra 1.3, or the uncoated speed cables. Put a Buff or Elite cable on and you have a very versatile easy to use rope. Set up with one of these coated cables it is very comparable to their RX Original as far as versatility. Some people might even prefer it over the RX Original just because of the smaller diameter lighter weight handles. Set up with their heavier coated cables there is nothing I can't do with the RX Original that I can't just as easily do with the EVO FREE. So if you want versatility don't order this rope with a wire speed cable. Instead, order one with a heavier Buff 3.4 , or Elite 2.6 coated cable. Just my opinion, but it works for me! Thank you, and stay healthy! Terry

Terry, thanks for the feedback and for offering a different perspective. This review is based on the lightest rope attachments possible. It would be interesting to see how the heavier cables performed with these light handles. JRTF. 💪🏾🔥🙏🏾

@@JumpRopeVeteran I use the hyper 1.3 advanced plus coated cable with this rope. Just bought it. SO SMOOTH and fast. In fact the smoothest and fastest yet. Havent tried the more expensive g2 or go rope but this thing is dynamite in every aspect. I do everything i can do with the get lean set from crossrope just more smoothly and with less effort. I can go on and on with this rope. Strangely enough i do crossovers much better with this rope

Excellent. Crossovers with a rope like this are difficult. Kudos to you. 💪🏽

Another awesome review JRV! How does it compare to the Rhythm rope?
@JumpRopeVeteran2 жыл бұрын
Bear, thanks for the support. Great question. In my opinion, the FRE is more specialized and less versatile than the Rhythm Rope in the configuration that you see in the video. You can purchase other rope attachments with the FRE. The Rhythm Rope isn't as fast but is far more versatile. JRTF. 🔥💪🏾

@@JumpRopeVeteran Oh ok cool thanks for the reply, much appreciate it! Will most likely stick with the RR since I really value it’s versatility

Great review! Would you recommend this rope for jumpers who want to learn double unders?
@JumpRopeVeteran2 жыл бұрын
Great question. I think that the learning curve would be difficult because of how light it is, but if someone is looking for a challenge, I think it would be a good investment.🔥

Hello JRV, Im a beginner and curious if you have any recommendation for a jump rope under $75? I am also not sure what is the universal length for my height which is 5'8?
@JumpRopeVeteran2 жыл бұрын
Great questions. Height plus three feet is the standard that most people like to use. For under $75, you could get the RXSG Original, the Crossrope slim handles with the 4 oz rope, the Punk Rope, or the TItle adjustable PVC rope. All are good options, with the first two being the most expensive and the last two being $9.99 each. 🔥💪🏾

Great review. Sounds like this rope is good for CrossFit competition where doing as many consecutive double unders in a set period of time is the goal. For serious crossfitters, this is probably a good deal

Did you discover which of the 2 ropes are a better double under rope? (Bolt or Evo Fre)
@JumpRopeVeteran2 жыл бұрын
Mel, it's a tough comparison. Great question. What I'd need to do is use the 1 oz rope and run a comparison like that. That'll be a good future Short. JRTF. 🔥💪🏾

It looks to me as if that rope would last you forever, provided you jump on a mat. I don't do speed jumping, but I would love to get my hands on something so heavy-duty, at least once.

Yes, a premium product like this works best when you take care of it. I've had it for months and it still performs nicely. JRTF. 🔥💪🏾
