Togawa Jun's version of Joe le Taxi is my favorite. Especially the Jun Togawa 20th Anniversary EP version. Unlike the original, which was so perfectly smooth, Togawa's Japanese accent and made it seem strangely sexy. This seemingly naive style of performance with so little vocal processing is something to be cherished. No one else has it. And perhaps in no other era will something like Togawa Jun ever happen again.
