That was awesome! The engineering to bring that back up the hill was amazing. And I thought it was cool what I did yesterday at Miller Rock at waypoint 10. Took the bypass and almost ended up in the ravine. Had a JT behind me anchor my rear passenger while I winched up the right hill. The ground is so soft, kept just sliding down and tipping. Nice work on this recovery! I was amaze to hear it start when you went to turn the wheel towards the top. Always heard good thing about the 4L I6 in those older Jeeps.

Good video, you guys do good work. Would be great to see the road or crash area in the beginning scene. How did they roll that thing anyway?

Loved the oil eating bacteria. Archaea I believe eat petroleum products. My bro uses them for cleaning up oil and gas spills.

Where is this on Switzerland trail? I've run that trail about a dozen times now and can't for the life of me figure out where that off camber trail merge they appear to have rolled from is..

Well there's this creepy old sign that warns you "enter at your own risk" well that sign points to the left at the scary fork in the road. To the right if you look down the dirt road You will see butterflies, unicorns, rainbows & a singing princess frolicking in the cheery colorful forest talking to all of her friends (the animals of the happy woods Forrest of song and laughter..if you are Not onone of the lucky ones then that sign will most always spin and point to the right and it will read "enter at your own risk..You see the happiness of the magical Forrest of laughter and and dance and song But you figure to go the way the warning posted wooden arrow that tells you NOT to go to the path on the right. Don't listen to the sign that... will spin on a dime wiwith a tiny breeze.

Could a Power Wagon do the entire length of the Switzerland Trail?
@jacobg51222 жыл бұрын
Easily. It's mostly a dirt road with big rocks in it. The only hard parts are the side trails.
@Colorado4x4RescueandRecovery2 жыл бұрын
yes, it's just a train track grade for the most part. very cool drive, especially with a foot of snow on the ground.

I had a Tj and know that it is no easy task to fold the windshield down so it seems rather silly to go through all that work just to drive it out of the woods but to each their own I guess.

it can happen very fast when you are too close to the edge of a trail. there are some steep offchutes on that one.

Thinking that the brand, Jeep, under your butt, makes up for inexperience to wonder anywhere invincibly. Glad they are alive. 100% driver error on so many levels. Inexperienced in how to properly use manual and 4WD, guaranteed, big contributor, aside from the fact that he wondered off trail in an unknown direction as to what was ahead.
