So happy to see you read a Mary Higgins Clark. She was my go to way back when and started my love for mystery/thrillers. I know a lot of books don't hold up but there are so many good older books out there that book YTs never touch on. Its a breath of fresh air to have an older one sprinkled in for a change. Thank you! Hope you're having a great summer!🌞🌊

Thank you so much!:) Yay, I hope you love We Used to Live Here. While it was a great audiobook, there is a fun Morse code feature in the book so I recommend physically reading it so you can have fun figuring out the codes. Happy reading!

Thrillers IMO were great 10 plus years ago. There's a lot of amazing ones that were written in the 80's and 90's. It would be a really fun idea to read one older thriller a month. They deserve more attention.

It's soooo good! Apparently there is fun morse code component with the physical book so I recommend physically reading it because I didn't get that aspect listening, although it really was an amazing listen!

I read "Where Are The Children?" 46 years ago LOL Love Mary Higgins Clark. I think this book is being shown again because a few years ago the sequel came out, "Where Are The Children Now?" MHC and Alafair Burke co-wrote a series, Under Suspicion, which is awesome! Yes! I agree with that miscommunication trope in romance. It's such a universal trope and it just annoys me. LOL

100% agree on five year lie. I saw she usually writes romance and I can see that. Definitely felt like something I’ve read before and very forgettable

Yes it was too heavy on the romance aspect and not enough on the thriller aspects for me!
