I totally understand how you feel about people being too close. I cant stand people being too close to me or when im on a bus and someone sits next to me and with being so close they're touching me i can feel my heart rate quickening till i can get off. Ive got my fingers and toes crossed for your new business premises. This move is going to be the making of you, and become a household name. Love your videos and the longer the better for me.

I understand how you feel on buses. I had space issues before COVID, but since COVID it has gotten worse...I am better if the person next to me has a mask on, but usually people just press in harder when I say I need space. Recently I have also had to deal with people not giving personal space at the pharmacy when the pharmacist is trying to explain your personal medication. So frustrating. I don't understand when people have ten foot wide sidewalks but insist on walking right next to you to get by you...at least this is what I experience in Oregon.

I actually got teary eyed when you spoke of your jury duty thing. I suffer from anxiety aswell. I dont go anywhere without my husband. But like you, there are things i can do alone...i just dont do people well. I love my space.

It's hard, but I do push myself when I can. Hubby and I did go into the city this week as I had an order to drop off. We went for a walk, and by the time we got to the end, I'd had enough but was pleased I did it. 🧡

Wow, even with no soap making, you have been very busy. It is so good that you are having lots of customers, but keeping my fingers crossed that it will not be long before you have another fantastic amount of foot traffic in the new shop. You look very happy in this video - even after the stressful event of jury duty. Great news on the sale of your house. Keep up your energy as you will need lots of it in the next couple of weeks. Don't forget to take care of yourself. Look forward to the next video. xxx 😊😊💖💖

Another great vlog. I really enjoy them and the considerations and behind the scenes activity of a small business. I know the right shop venue will come along. The selfish part of me hopes you'll have the capacity to be able to film the process of getting it ready to open, but in reality, I'd rather you take care of yourself and not overwhelm yourself with filming on top of everything else that you'll be doing. Take care.

The last time I was sent a notification of Jury Duty I never received the notice, so the County never received my confirmation back. They sent my name to the Sheriff's Department to issue an arrest warrant for failing to comply. Luckly the County Sheriff is a good friend! He saw my name and knew I wouldn't have ignored the notification. He brought the paperwork down to me that night and explained what happened. We figured out that the court clerk used our old address, which is why I never received it. (We had to switch from a PO Box to a mailbox at our house.) No warrant was issued, and it all worked out. He made sure they removed our old address from their records. We had updated them with new address at the time we changed, they just never removed the old address.

Wow Keeley, u proved yourself to be one of the most honest persons in the world I knew so far again, and your bravety to open up and share your up & down with us, It seems that I can almost feel your helplessness and pain for the ordeal you've been thru for the jury duties stuff, my eyes also went red as I was also there with you. (no worries, I will keep a good & nice personal distance as I also need🥰:)) , BTW this is called personal space proximity when I learnt this term in the university studying psychology and this is absolutely important and normal to make people feeling comfortable in the public with a certain space (no matter the one surround is strangers or friends or even family). This vlog is emotional but meaningful and fruitful at the same time, good people always have good endings, esp. after your house has buyer then your life and your business have just brightened up like a spark! May your new house and new shop all run smooth (finger-crossed) and I will be awaiting for your further update patiently. Work hard, play hard, rest harder! p.s. my hubby once put the biteEze balm on lip but he was 200% fine & even told me it was great as gave him a cooling sensation, hahahaha~well, I didn't tell him it was actually for repelling beetles but I sneak back the cool mint lipbalm to him secretly, thrilled to see the new orange tube packing😍😍😍

I am so glad that the bailiff was so nice to you, helped you and explained about your anxiety in crowds. I live in Portland, Oregon and we have a Saturday Market in downtown not far from me and i have only been to it once and I know I can never go back as a patron...there were to many people pushing and there were to many dogs...I am scared of most dogs. I step back when people step forward as well. However, I work with a haunted house and when I am acting I can handle the people, I think partially because we intentionally keep space between us and the patrons, but if I am in the same environment without the makeup and costume and character I get so anxious that I will have a panic attack that requires meds. If I am with a bunch of people that I can trust to protect me in a group then I am better and can somewhat function in a crowd.

I'm pleased I encountered an understanding Bailiff. It's been said most comedians have difficulty dealing with people, but the comedy gives them a mask to hide behind. Whenever we can pretend to be something different, we can cope better. 🧡

About the anxiety and that feeling of not being safe and wondering where it came from. Because your mum noticed it so young (around 7) my guess would be it started with severe separation anxiety from your mum. How did you go at school when mum dropped you off every morning? I used to get terrible separation anxiety from my mum starting at pre-school which then led to a feeling of not being 'safe' because my mum was my safety. We learn that being in new situations, around other people who dont 'see' us and without our special person is scary, unpredictable and makes us feel awful. As an adult this leads to a life of not feeling safe in unknown crowded situations that we know we will never be able to control - lockdowns were awful for me - so much panic because it was all unknown and 'scary'. Some of us are just born more anxious than others and thats ok xx I dont have a hubby or an anchor and I havent found anything that helps (deep breathing just heightens my anxiety in those situations). Staring at the floor or focusing on something on a wall or counting cracks or 'bumps on the road helps redirect my energy somewhat. I'm like you - I just avoid situations that bring me stress at all costs. woolies home delivery is a blessing and so it online shopping but I live in a small town and know which cafes I can go to for coffee and which ones i need to avoid and stuff like that x I find movie theatres really hard but we have a drive in movies in my town so thats lucky. Its a hard way to live, I envy people who can go and do things without carefully planning and putting support systems in place first. Anyway, I'm at 28mins so back to the Vlog haha xx

I can definitely see how this can affect some, but I think my issues were well before school. I was the kid who waved goodbye and ran off without care. Mainly because I was in care since a young age as my mum worked full time and my dad was in the army so I was used to it. Mum said I've always been wary of people being close since I was a young kid. 🧡
