3:53 The reason why the Sega Dreamcast has DirectX is because the system uses Microsoft Windows CE (Compact Edition). This was to allow for easier development of games for the Dreamcast following the failure of the Sega Saturn in large part since it was so complicated to program for using a combination of 2D and 3D hardware. This was technically Microsoft's first foray into consoles prior to the Xbox, hence why many Dreamcast games intended for the Dreamcast were reworked for the Xbox following Sega bowing out of consoles in 2001

There is a way to map the whole keyboard onto one key, if the input method also takes time into consideration. In this case you type using Morse code. All letters and numbers, as well as the space bar and common punctuations already have standard codings, also the backspace key. Then you just need to plan out other punctuation marks and modifier keys. Such a Morse input is actually very valuable as an assistive technology for severely disabled people. As long as they still have control for one muscle that generates clear action externally, they can use that muscle to tap out Morse code.
