Wasn't there a longer version of this video? This is my favorite tank on KZbin and I used to love to watch the longer version of this tank video on repeat. Would it be possible to repost it?

Beautiful work, Tai! I found my way to your KZbin and Instagram channels via the video that George Farmer just posted. I love this aquarium, partly because it's in a style that I have always been drawn to in my own work. I remember feeling insulted the first time someone referred to one of my scapes as a "jungle," and, though it took time, I know realize that no slight was meant, it was simply the recognition of one style of aquascape. Your jungle, here, and the behavior of the fish in it, remind me of your own video taken in a natural habitat. Thanks.

Hi Chris, thank you for your kind words! I know exactly what you mean by the 'jungle label', people can take it the wrong way, but it's often the best sort of tank for fish!

I like any aquarium where fish can behave naturally...something with room. Not for big fish..but small fish in big tanks is ideal. They interact,spawn...not a prison.

Very beautiful. Looks very natural. What are those tiny bubbles of gas rising from the bottom?
@biotopia53194 жыл бұрын
those are the plants respiring :)
@daphnia-magna4 жыл бұрын
@@biotopia5319 thank for reply, but no no they are respiring at night. This must be photosynthesis. However, at 0:27 one can see bubbles coming straight from the ground. I think this is methane, like in a natural pond.

I love the beach look in the front with the sand. What’s the rest of your substrate?
@biotopia53194 жыл бұрын
Thanks! In this tank it's a local (Brazilian) brand of aquarium substrate called Oceantech Plant Active...very similar to other planted substrates, it's a bit like the ADA Malaya soil...just, not as good quality...but it's all I can get here and bloody expensive!

This is great. I love jungle style tanks above "nature aquarium" aquascapes. This is true nature not the aquascapes. Are you dosing co2 24/7? Or just when the light is on?
@biotopia53194 жыл бұрын
Hi there, I do use Co2 and I add phosphate and postassium in powder form every few weeks, CO2 only runs when lights are on :)

It is a great tank and I agree with you. My tanks are all jungle. My 110-litre tank was high tech but because of the reliability of gas, I have turned it off and reduced the light and dropped the first to a weekly amount. The plants do the designing it is a true nature tank. The on;y thing wrong with yours is you should have run the film a lot longer. Love the fish you have chosen.
