I am crying. Your videos remind me of what I would have done if I just “listened”. I’m 44 married two kids a doctorate and work full time. I continued on the path society wanted me to. I fought back the uncomfortable inner voice and kept doing what everyone told me to do. Am I happy? Sure. I love my family and my career. Do I find myself still feeling like there is something missing? Absolutely. Nature is the one place that heals me and there isn’t any around me anymore. Where we’ve moved doesn’t have forest or water. As I watch your videos I’m in tears. I don’t know you but can’t help but be immensely proud that you did something only most wish they could.

I hike , do yoga and cycle . The summer in England is beautiful, but wish I owned my own house in the country away from people x

This is how true free spirits dance. No pre-rehearsed moves. Just pure love and freedom. Try it sometime! It can take some practice for some people depending on how long they have lived with fear on their shoulders. Ive been around alot. Especially here in europe. And i have found that its much easier to find these people on festivals and things like that. Most common on psy-trance gatherings for some reason. Those festivals is the only place ive found where hundreds or thousands of people dance like this together. (INCREDIBLE)

I just came across your videos and I love the way you present your material. I decided to retire early and take the lessor income in exchange for freedom. I have always lived on the edge, working part time with children while continuing to write songs, stories, poetry and play music. A year ago I left the city and moved to an artsy small town in the middle of no where with the intension of finally putting all of my life's work out there. I am about to move into a gorgeous community house, sharing more of my life with others. While my comfort zone is telling me to stay put, my intuition is shouting, "Go. Go. Go. This is where you will find emotional support and inspiration." Your video helped immensely to validate what I am feeling intuitively. Thank you so much. I am looking forward watching more of your journey.

Watching videos like yours, make me remember why I went into the medical field. I wanted to travel from commune to commune as a Naturopathic doctor, sharing my services for food and shelter and when all is done, moving on to the next commune that needed me. Unfortunately, chronic illness has befallen me, but watching these with my gf who wants a similar lifestyle makes me feel strong again, like maybe I can live off the land and make my own things. I will keep watching your excellent vods for inspiration and just knowing that others have illnesses they suffer from too (that are similar to mine), but working towards a goal can give one a better outlook on life. Much Love & Thank you!

I relate so much to your comment in this video about wrapping yourself in a blanket in a dark corner in your down time from your energy being spent on things you have no passion for. So happy for you having figured these things out so early in life. I just turned 29 and am only just understanding my mental health issues and am back to working towards a dream of off grid living. But my distractions led to so much debt and too many commitments. Hope to be living your life within the next few years and am loving watching yours until then. One of the things that brings me into complete alignment with the world is random encounters with wildlife. They could go anywhere. They hear me coming long before they allow me to see them. In the moment we see each other.....there is nothing else. I breathe it in, thank them, and watch for as long as they'll let me. When they've wandered off after a completely non-threatening visual interaction, I am thrilled, at peace, inspired and utterly awash in gratitude.

I love this video. I worked so hard a couple of years, saving money to travel to international countries. I did not take care of myself so i got a depression, where i am recovering from, i am also in the middle of a burnout. Some days i feel like i am not living, life is a rat race. But i think these tough problems lead me somewhere. I work 3 days a week, i have less money but way more freedom. And saving money is not that hard, i was so surprised.. I rather have more freedom and do the things i like then working my ass off for a boss who does not even know my name, just to make him rich. I love nature as well, dog walking and diving. We started our own business a few weeks ago and i hope this will help us become totally independent. Also, it’s never to late to choose a different lifestyle. With love, Eden.

I’m so sad for you. But for every decision you only know what it lead to. The alternative is only a guess and could be so much worse, because the alternative to that very first decision you think was wrong would also have needed new decisions and a path. If you appear accomplished then you must be adding something to other people’s lives and that’s not meaningless. Best wishes

You're channel and along with 2 others have changed my life. for as long as I can remember, I've been so unhappy with my life. Absent father who's a drug addict and in and out of prison. Stressed, unhappy mother. Negative stepfather. Beautiful sister who has a bitter tongue (I love her dearly). Mean kids at school. And a sexual assaulter. I was so close to ending my life on several occasions. Even went to a Psychiatric Hospital once for an attempt on suicide. Several medicines I've been on. I'm 15 now and only on Prozac. Trying to get off of it. Currently tapering off. But a few months ago I was really low. And one day I was browsing KZbin and found Pippin Jardine. She has a channel similar to yours. She made me realize so much. Perspective is everything. So is intuition. And then I found TheCottageFairy and your channel. I've been journaling, doing yoga, getting outdoors as much as possible, meditating, dancing, singing, writing, cooking, and trying to eat a more plant based diet. I'm happier than ever. My parents and everyone pressure college on me. I want to go live in the country side or the mountains with someone I love and who loves me back. I've been recycling. I've been eating my vegetables and vegan smoothies. I've been drinking my water and tea. I eat the fresh apples from the tree that bears them down the street from my house. i drank my nightly smoothie. I'm truly happy. Even if the things my stepdad says really hurts. I'm happy. Because I have intuition. and self worth and value. I feel the earth's beauty and wilderness within me. I am free. and I thank you.

the cool thing is you cant be bad at self expression. dancing is one of the most ancient and sacred forms of self expression and the first time i saw people dancing changed my life (not dancing in dance class or at a nightclub but people meeting up and bringing whatever they have to the table to create an unbelievable dance floor in the middle of the australian bush away from modern western society, phones etc) i never understood dancing or why nightclubs were for dancing but then i realised that dancing is our natural state of self expression, connectedness and presentness. (before people wore clothes we danced) and ive come to realise no two people dance the same, everyone can dance in an extremely connected way but the way we move each of our bodies is so unique it feels like such an honour to be able to watch or share moments with others where they are actually DANCING, drawing the energy around them from the trees, the sky, and others and then stomping that back into the dirt to be shared
