This is a new series I've started explaining the basics of VEX for algorithmic design / procedural modeling which I'm using on daily basis.
In this 19th episode, I'm explaining the basics of noise functions for VEX in Houdini what these are and how you can use them with several exercises.
I've also started a Patreon, it would be great if I could get your support to continue creating tutorial contents.

I love your Houdini tutorials! They are easy to follow and yet profound! thank you very much for making them! Would you consider to make a tutorial about implementing phasor noise in vex? That would be super awesome!!

Hi Mr.Horikawa , thanks for your solid explanation on the topics so far , was wondering if you could also teach about RBD and the nodes related to it , and how it works in general. Thanks again.

Thanks so much for doing this, sir! But I'm not quite sure why use nested for loop at the end to check neighbor seed?

In regards to Perlin vs Simplex with Perlin I notice grid lines or a suggestion of a hard edge that does look like a grid on X and Y. With Simplex I do not notice this at all.

I've been trying to write a wrangle which allows me to make distorted ripple effect. I tried multiplication of noise value to the angle but it did not work :( Any advice? Thanks so much!
