Thanks, great vid. Friends kid just got signed onto a main camp, from an ID camp. I had no idea if that's a wow thing, or "he's one of 96 on the ice". Super cool for him, even if he doesn't make it. We'll be in the same boat in a few yrs, I hope.

got my first juniors ID camp in may for tier 2, paid in full by a "sponsor", played an acha 3 camp a couple weeks ago. havent played contact hockey for over 2 years before that. Super excited and this helped

I feel like there needs to be a better system than having to sign up for $2k worth of nonrefundable camps just to ensure you have a chance. This is a huge pain point for the players.

Yes, it is, however juniors is meant for the best players, those top players don't need to do camps. Everyone else who isn't sure to be good enough and wants to play or thinks they are good enough for Tier 2 has no other choice.

You can hire an advisor that can do the research for you and narrow the camps down but you are still spending money.
