This is priceless, when I was a kid, I was a huge fan of the Everly Brothers, had their book, first book along with Hank Williams book, sang their songs, listened to their beautiful voices, harmonies, loved those guys, they were great. So this for me brings back a lot of sweet childhood memories. Having Burton and Dominic here makes it even more special. And the engineer Doug McClement? Another great one, what can I say.

Recorded in November, 1983 at CHCH-TV in Hamilton, Ontario Canada. Episode #1 of 26 for the "In Session" series. Lead Guitar: Domenic Troiano: rhythm guitar: Brian Russell; Bass: Ian Gardiner; drums: Gary Peterson. In the control room, musical director Bobby Edwards and recording engineer, yours truly, Doug McClement. I'll never forget that day. Don was amazed that Burton had learned all of Phil's harmonies note for note, and Burton was thrilled to be working with one of his idols. As you can tell, there was almost no rehearsal. Don was just calling out song titles and keys.

Great video. MIssed opportunity on "Lucille", where Burton coulda shoulda done the high key-plunking, rather than just riff. Love the Everlys, but Little Richard's version blows theirs out of the water.
