Pam, I'm barely a minute into the video, but thought I would tell you that I truly appreciate your videos so much! I love that you always give us tips/advice on how to make use of the materials we do have. I don't have any fancy things to journal with, so I find it very helpful that you incorporate these easy little tips that we can all use! Truly appreciate it, so thank you!

I appreciate it when you show how you use what you create. The envelopes for the dried flowers add a softness to the project. I remember putting my grandfather's funeral flower in between book pages when I was only 8 yrs old & all these decades later, I still have it. I think an envelope like this is just what I need for it! This 1 really brought back memories.

In my deepest, darkest hour on Friday night, I gave in and made Hamburger Helper. Yes, it was grueling....BUT, the packaging that the noodles came in was a clear, kind of waxy cello bag that was about a 3" x 5" type of thing...I was suddenly delighted! I could use these bags to conjure up my own spin on this craft! While the HH was not so spectacular, I view it as a total win because of the noodle bags! Yeah and thank you for helping my imagination go wild!!

Hi Pam~You're just plain fun. I've tried the dried flower/envelope idea. While the hydrangeas are fiddly to work with, they're well worth the effort. What I discovered was, I took a hard clear piece of packaging material and mounted the flowers to that first, then slid them in the envelope, or built the envelope around them. (Pre-cut the envelope, fold it to fit any size flower you have saved, then glue it together). That way nobody gets hurt. I have some Raffia that I plan on making the nests with, then along with modeling clay and painted eggs, I'll have a real cute display for Spring. Thanks.
