Although I’ve glued fabric to a card, I never thought to wrap the card in fabric and glue it that way. Thanks for such a simple but lovely alternative. I really like the tie with the card on it to use as a closure.

I love these ideas, thank you. I have some jewelled buckles I bought from thrift stores, I can use one of those for a closure. Thankfully I have a ton of lace I can pick through to use for the tie. 😘

Love the closures Jen, but the elastic one is genius.

The elastic is so simple, isn’t it. I see photos of similar bookmarks on Pinterest too. They are usually hat elastic - but I think it will work better with the wider one (couldn’t find my hat elastic anywhere 😂). You could tuck it under exposed binding on a spine to attach it too the book too.
