I think it is funny Doohan used the same voice for data as he did for evil computers in the TOS Star Trek, He has most of the evil body less voices too. All good computers are voiced by Majel Barrett.

Believe the audio-book I once read had Takei reading an adaptation of Final Frontier, the fifth film. He kinda had ta make McCoy's Southern accent thicker, which was weird to hear. Don't recall if he attempted Nichelle's singing voice. He did do an impeccable Sulu impression, though.

Yes, I wish they had made the overall size of the Sydney-class smaller. When I first saw Relics, I thought the ship was maybe three times the size of a runabout, not a couple hundred metres long!

Supposedly this ship was the inspiration for the Aquarius escort that is docked in the rear of some Odyssey class starships from Star Trek online and now in the Prime timeline since the Odysseys are canon thanks to Picard S3. If so then it would make sense if it was smaller. Though in TNG it makes more sense for the Jenolan to be Reliant sized when it used its shields to hold open the doors enough for the Enterprise D to escape the sphere.

As an in universe explanation of Scotty thinking Kirk got the 1701-A out of mothballs to rescue him even though he'd been there when Kirk "died" is simply stress and confusion brought on by the trauma of the Jenolin crashing, being the sole survivor, as at the point Riker told Scotty he was from the Enterprise Scotty had already tried to get Franklin out and found his pattern too degraded, plus 70someodd years in a transporters diagnostic cycle, his brain was probably addled a bit, and when he heard Enterprise that was his minds first thought.

For some reason, KZbin is recommending this Jenolan video out at full blast. I really don't understand or have any control over it.
