I was under my 55 a few weeks ago looking at those spring mounts wondering if all I had to do was swap them from one side to the other. Now I know good job looks clean.

@garysgarage.2841 Thanks Gary! Yep, youll just have to shape the rear hanger a bit to mount the inner frame. That's really the hardest part! Ha e good one buddy!

I added 3/4" x 3" spacers to all the body mounts on my 56 years ago. Made them out of 3/4" bar stock, drilled a hole in the middle, and set the body up off the frame 3/4". More clearance for lots of things.

A 3/4" lift kit! Thanks Maga!

@@junksautomotive It was simple, easy to do, and cost very little. Looks kinda cool too, with the brightly colored new poly bushings! I also added a frame to frame new shock mount made out of 2" thick walled square tubing, and a frame to frame transmission mount for my 4 speed. Poor mans way of making a stronger old frame. ;)

@MagaRickn I did the same things! In this video kzbin.info/www/bejne/jma8inWnjtOVarssi=z6lIZFvXfUmPfdkd

@@junksautomotive I bought one of those all thread spring compressors, and got me a ratchet wrench to fit also. Just got a notice my new front springs are at the post office to be picked up tomorrow. We're having fun now! 73 years young and moving kinda slow, but still moving! ;)
