You best go over the engine again and make sure you get all those acorns off it. Otherwise after you start the engine the exhaust manifold will get hot and you'll burn your nuts.

I picked up a 1960 Ford f100 out of Oklahoma this year. It was completely worked over by hillbillies for years. New wheels, tires, driveshaft, radiator, battery, waterpump, fuel pump, gas tank, and now a new transmission because the old C4 sat in water and only would do two gears. It is still in the garage. Hope to have some videos soon. I feel your pain guys. I really do, but there was no way I would let classic metal like this get crushed. Oh. Almost forgot to say. Thanks for your service. You make us all proud.

I saved an awesome 1969 ford ranchero from the desert and she sat for about 3 years and she hauled campers all her life but not anymore. The carb was shot and barely worked below 10mph and I drove her for about 250 miles. She now has a new carb runs great and just now needs new coil and leaf springs. Shes listing like a ship and just needs help.

looks great, keep it going, you guys are doing very well. This is my era sort of I'm 69 years old but worked on the cars of the 50's & 60's extensively back in the day and they all were Ford, Pontiac & Chevy nothing else! Owned a 56 Ford crown vic a 58 T-Bird, 59 Galaxie 500 while in High School in NY. Went to a 62 Impala ragtop in 68, a 67 Mustang HP 289 fastback then a 68 T-Bird before buying a 69 GTO. That was the last of the 60's era cars in 71, I worked on every one of these cars changing everything from carburetors to starters to water pumps to modifying them with dual exhaust systems, Cherry Bombs and Thrush packs, Headman headers & Isky Cams, Craiger Mags and fuzzy dice. Miss those days when you used a feeler gauge & Dwell & tach meter, maybe if you had one to set up the timing & get it to run smooth. Good luck gentlemen you guys look young enough to be my grandsons!

Thanks from me and all whom are no longer in uniform and from those whom can live Free because of your good self and those whom currently serve along side you including all the civilian folks that work in support of your mission here and abroad. I wish you continued success with this channel as it seems that you really enjoy making what some call "Junk" useable again. I certainly get a kick out of the 'home spun' nature of your style. Looking forward to viewing everything you publish and I'll be sure to check out the links to your comrades on their channels too. I guess YTube recommended your channel because I have viewed other channels with a similar bent. Best Regards, CurlyJo

If he didnt know what a casette player is hes younger then me and im not old by any means One thing id tell him though i can tell hes one of those kids who likes wearing flip flops and theres nothing wrong with that but id reccomend for safety reasons changing into some covered shoes when working on stuff in the shop hell you could even leave the shoes in there and change in and out of them. ive seen some nasty accidents involving not wearing shoes and dropping tools and car parts it doesnt take much to cut someones foot badly if its not covered.

Man, those trucks had good lines. I had a ‘60 F-100 with a 292, 3 on the tree and 16.5s. Some asshole got it towed for me when I was out of town working. It was auctioned off by the time I got home. That was just the beginning of the end of our “friendship”. It still chaps my ass when it crosses my mind and that was over 25 years ago.
