Double wishbones suspension is awesome. I owned both a 6th and 7th gen Civic. The 6th having DW and the 7th having McPherson struts. My 6th gen with stock suspension handles way better than my 7th gen with upgraded shocks and springs. Much more stability in corners. It's too bad most FWD cars settled for the McPherson. I guess the extra cabin space is nice.

Didn't happen so heres my go: It's a butterfly valve that closes to prevent pressure from escaping the compression chamber in your cylinders which means the engine has to do work to compress that air on the next cycle. The force required to re compress the air in the cylinder pushes back on the piston which in turn pushes back on your driveline.
