I’m sorry they’re so out of date! There’s still some things that are helpful, but the UI radically changed (again!) between 1.5 and 3.0

Thanks. Very useful. I love the Xm, it’s such an incredibly rich and capable synth but it’s not as intuitive as my System-8. Once you know how to use it, it has almost no limits.

illuminateist Still love the sounds and hands-on approach of the System-8. I don’t think I ever felt compelled to do a tutorial for that! lol

Newby question: is it possible to have 2 different arps motives on different parts? E.g a simple bass one , and another one on the right hand which you could switch on and off at some point of the song? Really struggling to do that. Thanks for the great tutorials though! Really instructive!
@RobertSaintJohn3 жыл бұрын
Absolutely possible, they key is: don’t use I-Arp! What you want to setup and use are basic arpeggios that, other than clock, are independent of each other. Watch this video below, combine it with some key range setting techniques I showed here, and you should be good to go: kzbin.info/www/bejne/hX2zY3pvjtuqq80

@@RobertSaintJohn Ah, well you did a very good job to the point that I thought it was an actual font used! I guess there really isn't a font anywhere, but it was worth asking. Thanks anyway :)
