With Alfred and Gebel, it's easy to trivialize most stages by using flight and fire shield. Chaos Route is the toughest way to complete Bloodstained outside of Low% (ignore your allies), which I felt wouldn't be as fun to watch. 2. I love the dynamic of Chaos Route. The way the game gradually evolves from a classic Castlevania experience into Mega Man Zero 5 is REALLY interesting.

This speedrun was so close to perfection! Tbh, I like Curse of the Moon more than Ritual of the Night (what can I say? I’m a sucker for the retro aesthetic and music) and seeing this speedrun taught me a lot of good strategies. I never really understood how to utilize the Talisman??? subweapon to it’s full potential and that jump with the reverse slash is something I’ll definitely try practicing. Curse of the Moon is certainly easier to finish than the OG Classicvanias but it’s still such a fun and challenging experience (and I admit that I have died plenty of times because I get too eager with my jumps). So thanks JupiterClimb and gg on this splendid no hit.

I guess it's just those tiny details about the bosses, but in Curse of the Moon, most of them seem so much more interesting than In Ritual of the Night. Like Bathin reading a book before starting the fight, Valefar revealing after his death that his gold was just an illusion, Bloodless entering with that typical 8-bit rendition of the "ojou-sama laugh" only to turn into a hideous abomination for her desperation attack. But my favourite detail is how Gremory cleches her fist in anger after beating her first phase, making her look more impulsive and immature. These details give them a kind of personality hint that makes you wonder if there could've been more to them. I love that so much, and it's a tad disappointing that this doesn't carry over to Ritual, but to be fair, that game has enough characters as is.

You can do a hybrid approach like that, the ending will actually change a bit as well.

And it is odd that a man with a cowboy hat was drinking wine (possibly) with that kind of glass in the portrait. Usually in popular media, an elite group of people use that glass. Cowboys use classic wide cylinder or bottle itself.

I'm glad Blasphemy unto Heaven has gotten more appreciation from you these days. It's still probably the weakest tune on the ost, and gets no help following the excellent Brilliant Void, but the "worst" piece on a track full of bangers is still a banger
